My soul level is low in pots help !!!!

i have 5 autos growing I misjudged the soil amount I needed to fill them up all the way they are a little low my question is can I add a layer of hydroton perlite coco or could I add more soil or should I jus leave it alone??? Plants are 20 days old

Excellent growth for 3 weeks .... you could do the things you mentioned but it's probably not necessary ... next time fill the pot ... if they were hard sided pots you could try to add more but I don't see it working out w/ soft sided pots ... if the rest of your grow goes as well as the first 3 weeks you'll do just fine ... hope you've got some Calmag ...

Yes I have cal mag thank you I did a lot of research I'm worried about ph so I'm going to buy a pen today but on the feeding schedule it says not to use calmag till bloom but I've heard different ??? Should I be using

I would start w/ 1/2 strength Calmag now ... at least once a week ...

I suggest that each time you water that you slowly wet all the soil in each pot ... they should dry fast but if you stay on top of them you'll get excellent results ... as they grow you may need to water daily ...

How slow do u mean ???I usually do the lift test when they feel light I water the 3G pots with 1g and the 5g with 1.5g

That sounds about right ... when I water I try to get every bit of soil in a pot wet w/ minimal run off ... that allows the plant to benefit from all the soil in the pot ... then I let it dry out ... my 4 gal plastic pots hold 1 gal of water every 3-4 days ...
