are there any benefits of using autos with mycorrhizal fungi does an auto have a long enough life cycle to benefit from it being used ? as any one done any side by side grows with and without ? ive found it at a local store for a really good price and wondered is it worth buying and using in all my future grows i normally grow autos that take 12 weeks plus

Ihave been using it for a long time and wouldn't grow with out it.I use it with airpots and the rootballs are massive.

namvet the pack says to sprinkle at the bottom of the hole ??? as i will be using it in a pot could you explain how u use it do you mix it with soil or sprinkle in bottom of pot ?

I dont' grow w/o it either. The trick is keeping them alive and active. There is a lot of debate on being able to adjust the PH of feedings without killing off the microherd with what you use to do so. PH UP and DOWN will kill it off, supposedly. Chlorine and Chloramines in tap water possibly could kill it off, although I've seen posts with growers not having an issue with chloramines ( I still dechloramine my feeding though). I use distilled white vinagar to bring my PH down with the line of thinking the vinegar is too diluted to do any real damage to the mycos, but I could be wrong.

Using organic nutes (particles) are said to bind with the chloramines and nuetralize them. Alot of organic growers (esp "super soil" users) usually don't even worry about their PH.

"My 2 cents"

I use Biotone (also has seedling starter nutes). 1 cup per cubic foot of soil roughly for that stuff.

You are probably using a different type, but I would still probably mix throughout the soil. :peace:

I dig a hole about six inches deep then sprinkle the entire hole with it then mix some with the removed soil then put it back in the hole.I also mix some in the top two inches of mix every other week and water it in well.

I believe it works better with organic nutes because chem nutes tend to kill some of the micro organisms.Keep in mind that the myco stays dormant until the mix gets activated with water. The reason you put it in the planting hole is to make sure the roots contact the myco and it attaches itself to the roots and starts building added root structure.Once the myco gets wet it will die within a few days if it doesn't find roots to feed on.
