I'm new to this, I've never grown before and I want to go with autoflowers to start.. I know that autoflowers do not like being transplanted.. will nutrient rich soils like ocean forest or roots organic burn the plant if I germ then plant directly into the 3 gallon bucket to grow fully with no transplantm

OR if I take a 3 gallon pot and fill it up with the soil and make a hole like I am going to transplant but I fill that hole with a germinating soil and plant the seed in there to let it grow through the germ soil into the nutrient rich soil?

What is the suggested way to plant autos in soil without having to transplant it ever?

Welcome dude :welcome:

There's various ways: I use a light soil and don't feed for the first 10 days as they don't need a lot for a couple of weeks. Some people start in a cup and then cut the bottom out and "transplant" cup and all into the main pot. Etc etc.

Time for some research buddy :hookah::vibe:

Or your way would work also I reckon.

I guess items pretty similar to the solo cup method you mentioned.. I was thinking 3 gallon bucket, fill with rich soil, make solo cup sized hole, fill with germ soil, plant germinated seed in germ soil..

And I have tried to look on Google but there's nothing that I found that has the answers I need and I thought that's why these forums were here... to shoot the shit and teach and learn from people.. thought I was in the right place for research already...

I use plugs to germinate and then stick them in the final pot once the roots are well established in the plug. But I never use hot soil myself.
I assume your method of different soils in the final pot does the trick to avoid the seedling getting burned

Yea honestly I'm pretty derp about this.. never grown just in my learning and planning phase.. didn't even think of plugs, that's a good idea.. I want to use hot soil because I want to do a soil water only grow.. Im not just gonna use the soil, I will mix in some extra worm castings, composte, dry fertilizer, and perlite.. kinda a pseudo supersoil.. figure since autos have such short lives they wouldnt need a full out super duper soil or anything.. just some love and properly phed water lol... any advise on that would be awesome aswell even know it's off topic

It's that short life span that makes them more sensitive to hot soil in the beginning. You can also use the coco nursery pots, you can pot them straight into the final pot as they degrade naturally
