I'm on my way to the store to return some cfl's bcuz I believe I have it wrong. I want the 40 and 60 watt, 6500k and 2700k bulbs. What I have right now are EQUIVELANT to 40 and 60 watts. They're actually 9 and 13 watts. So are these bulbs wrong and I need ACTUAL wattage of 40 and 60?

Look at the bottom of the CFL at the screw end. The little ballast will tell you the actual wattage and what K they are.
