First of all im a pretty long term lurker here and thankyou all for the knowledge youve gifted to the world so far 
Right, so my wife and I have to leave our wonderful outdoors grow deep in the bush for my wifes medical treatment in the city - we are bummed.
I need to set up a grow of about 3-4 plants (can do less) in a cupboard of about 5 and a half foot tall, and 2foot by 1 foot which I can make bigger. Im thinking of soil (or possibly coco) and hand watering - as im rewarded spiritually by the close contact I have with my friends
I dont have much money and am interested in LED and CFL techniques and having read many excellent articles on AFN im hoping a Darklight 135W UFO with several CFL's will be enough - i have about AU$500 or so to use and need help. Im also considering the Grownorthern Ms0004 with supplementals but cant find enough grows to compare the two.
The local hydro shops tried to sell me a HPS setup starting from $1500 - which might be normal but to me is way over budget and philosophically im opposed to the setup drawing so much power.
Ill post this in a couple of forums just because I need info ASAP as we will be far out of internet contact for a while.
