Extraction Need some input on hash

I have an 8 bag filter system (5gallon). I put 1lb of shake and spider buds in. I put water in the shake and ice and gave it hell for an hour. Each bag had only a teaspoon full of hash. I've used 2 ounces before and got 5 grams. Is that to much for the bubble bags? Thing is I have around 10 lbs of frosty shake left and would like to get the most out of it. What should I do?

I would expect you should get an ounce from one lb:Cool:but it all depends on the quality of the start product and of course how much plant material you want in your hash!

Rdeaton l make dry ice hash all the way best bang for the buck and way easy and shorter time to make. I use the 220 bag I never crush or powder materials. I pulverise my dry ice put it into the bucket and put my dry and frozen materials on top of ice let set for awhile then turn over and shake onto large glass . You can see when it slows down or color change. And we get a little over z per lb. And it has always been almost the same as bubble. If you have any questions pm me.

Also, don't use cheap eBay bags with dry ice - they often (in my case, 3 sets) - will lose some plastic material in the hash that can make it through. Had to throw out a whole batch because it had little tiny red particles in it and I wasn't too fond of the idea of smoking plastic.

Wg next time run that polka dot hash thru a 73 or 45u bag to get ridda your red. Using a 220 bag isn't ever gonna produce bubble dude. Not a fan of dryice hash. Sorry u don't like the work of making bubble but for the melty there are no shortcuts. Yeah you wanna put bout qp at a time in buckets. Also use 220 bag in seperate bucket. Work material 15 to 30 min. Depending if you are use electric or hand beater. Then pull 220 bag set aside and pour your hash water into 2nd bucket lined with your other bags and pull. Enjoy

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm slowly getting it done. About once a week I will do a bath. Still not halfway there. I'm pulling some real good stuff, just not as much per batch.

Another good trick is super chill your water before you pour on ice. I keep all the grades seperate cuz I prefer to smoke the 73u to 45u. The 23u doesn't melt like I like. The last bag catches trich stalks ,dust and other material.
