Hey all! Glad to have stumbled across this resource.

I've been thinking about this for a long while now, and in a fit of enthusiasm I hit the buy button on a nice little grow tent and some Mephisto genetics (Skywalker, Strawberry Nuggets and Sour Crack.)

Once everything gets set up and the baby beans get here I'll start posting in the new growers journal section, but for now I just wanted to say hey to ya'll and introduce myself. Hoping to get to know you fine folks over the next few months and share with you the joys of a successful and hopefully stress free harvest.

Thanks for all the awesome resources, I'm sure ill make use of so much here. Any advice for a new grower is more than welcome.

My advice is to read and follow every journal you can, (especially the stickys). Those are the threads at the very top of each section. When you get to the point that you are ready to explode, smoke a bowl and read some more! Make a list of things you need and make a plan and start your grow! Soon you will be the envy of friends/family with sticky icky buds!

Don't forget to tag me in so I can follow along!

And I would add, to pick your medium method (soil, Coco, DWC, Ant and Dec etc) and stick with it for a while. Then look at switching if you feel you need to.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I'm sure you can look back and remember the feels you got before your first grow, so you all probably understand when I say I am super stoked to get this up and running.
