Marshydro also do ufo's, there 180w/90-100w true are fairly cheap plus also marshydro are reputable enough not to sell a dud.

Both are fine other than the fact that they're too big to fit in. Blackstar's UFO is great in that it is only 7" in diameter.

I aldo thought mars hydro had good lights and bought the mars 900 and it was really crap. Claim 11 band no way,its 6-7 band. Draw 420w and the 5w shitty epistar chips are way too little intense with their low efficiency at 2,2-2,3w pr chip. I will never buy a led from them again cause it sucked. Even my small led from another chunease supplier was brigghter and it had only 80 x3w epiled taiwan chips. From now im only gonna consider a led if it has cree or luxeon rebel leds

I need help picking a new LED light for ~$100. The grow space is 240mm deep and 370mm wide.

I was about to buy this until I saw that the shipping costs would be just under $70.

Too expensive for a Chinese $60 light. I can't believe it has come to this but I think it would be more cost-effective to just get a new light.

If I do indeed purchase a new light I want to get it right. Something 100% capable of reaching the maximum potential for a square foot of space.
That being said, $100 isn't an absolute limit but something to aim for. I could even fit a HS1 in the cab but it's waaaay too expensive and probably an overkill anyway.

I was just looking at it but then I noticed it's 10" which is slightly too big. If the 100W Blackstar genuinely draws about 65W it might be just what I need. The closet has very little air exchange after all so the light can't be a massive heat source.

That particular light does not ship outside the US. :/
I did consider those COB LEDs but I think this time I want a brand name light because I don't want to risk any more money with unbranded Chinese lights even though some of them do deliver. Also I think a 200W unit might produce too much heat...
