I wouldn't waste my breath commenting on an article written by Hydrogrow what I will do is show you stone cold evidence the Rebels work....here is a 380g AutoX I grew along side other plants under 240w.

I've been averaging between 600-700g every 12weeks in a 1.2m2 room with just 240w.....I would say they work.

Its very difficult to compare to a CFL because yields vary a lot from light to light.

if your going to spend a lot of money on lights make sure u have a good look around the diaries,you cant beat live honest results.

what kind of yields have you been getting from your CFL?

Until now I used CFL 1x300w 6400k 9u, CFL 1x300w 2700k 9u, CFL 5x40w 2700k Spiral for side lighting... I do not know how much is actual power consumption, but it is at least a 100w less than that declared by the manufacturer (for all the CFL combined) Yields were 245 grams from 4 x Think Different DP, and around 30 grams from one bonus seed Auto Blue Mammoth. Perlite, Vermiculite, Sphagnum Peat Moss, and Worm Castings in 2x50L smart pot, with two plants per pot. Auto Blue Mammoth was in 10L bucket. Bbiz grow, bloom, alg-a-mic and some local liquid Fulvic/Humic acid extraction form worm castings and liquid formulation based on amino acids and peptides. My best grow so far... I hope it gets even better with new panels.

Bro if you can get yields like that under CFL you will smash it with LED.
