Lighting new GN Units

Keep guessing lol one clue I can give is it's totally different to any other Growligh, remember GN make custom units for the bio manufacturing industry that's where they first used the Rebels so that's had an influence.

Nitrogen gas
Woops

some of my mates last night we was talking about this and having a smoke and we worked out nitrogen gas can be used but we will still have to find out if it is this

Nitrogen would be an odd choice, what use would it have in a grow light?

Edit - that wan't meant to be rude, I'm genuinely curious when I can't figure something out for myself!

[h=1]LIQUID NITROGEN COOLING that where i am going with it why would it be an odd chose lots of laptops and pc use it for cooling [/h]

I'm going with pixie wings, each unit has an internal pixie that beats her wings over the heat sink...the pixie can beat for up to 20 hrs a day she is then fed magic stardust cookies by the small robots that pilot the units (remember I told you they hover instead of hang) then she rests until the timer fairy wakes her up.

I was told by a GN spokesperson that the rumours of hamsters and wheels were not completely untrue, however I think TaNg has hit the nail on the head with the previous post.
The GN guy was probably trying to fool me. As if !

Only a very few PC rigs use it in lab conditions for achieving world records like the i7 3.5ghz clocked to a stable 6.5ghz. Even then it's only poured directly onto the cpu and ALL the other components have to be heavily insulated to prevent them shorting out from the instantaneous condenstation caused by the heating up of the nitrogen on contact with the cpu.
Maybe a very, very few gaming enthusiasts would use liquid nitrogen to cool their liquid cooling reservoirs but you won't find a closed loop liquid nitrogen cooling system anywhere other than in industrial/medical usage due to the necessity of keeping pressurized storage tanks of liquid nitrogen piped through pipes that can handle sub zero coolants. It evaporates very quickly!

LED panels can be overclocked but there is no real benefit to the grower and the lifespan of the bulb will be at least 75% less than it was plus your tent will be too cold so you'll have to add heat and hence use more nitrogen to cool your panel. Vicious circle.

It's not really about cooling the panels but more about turning more of the power they use into light instead of heat, I think I know how but we'll have to wait and see :)
