Lighting new GN Units

not too long to go guys and girls and you will be presently spritzed how they look the will take on a new look :brow:

still 2 months with no stock though

Should be more like 5 or 6 weeks bro but yeah still a long time to be without stock although you can still buy the upgrades,if the new light was another Chinese unit I would be worried about the gap of stock but because there manufacturing it themselves I'm sure it was the plan all along....can you imagine the work that goes into making a production line from scratch?
I'm 100% sure the wait will be worth it.

Yeah u no I weren't dissing bro just culda been more organised I spose. Just thinking that there losing bit of money but it's all good.

LEDs have come a long way, and hopefully have a lot to come. The rumours surgest that the new 4 module rebel lights should be equal to the ms0006, end product ways. The Ms0006 had a max wattage of 270 avg 200 watts. Managing to reduce this down to 75 watt (while maintaining product quality) would be a leap to much. A number of people on this forum have upgraded their lights with rebels, could one of them measure the wattage draw (even if they've only upgraded a couple of modules), this would give us a better idea of the wattage of the new unit. Peace

It takes a good while to get a new proven product from the design stage to finished units .
In my electronics company we quote customers 6-8 weeks from receiving order from them .
This is mainly due to supplier league times on parts the bare printed circuit board being the main 1 . Suppliers if the board usually state 12-15 working days in most cases we use . Which is 3 weeks before ya even get ya hands on em before ya can start building em !

Having used the Rebel upgrades for a few grows I know how powerful these little things are also the chips in the upgrades are only being driven at about 1w when they can go to 3w.

May be difficult to work out bro.

I don't think it would be that hard bro.

With GN units, you can choose to have 2, 4 or 6 modules on. So why can't you just keep the 2 modules on that are rebel upgrades then turn the others off. Then test wattage?
