Bro it's foolish to say people are being over charged when you havent seen the product? How do you know it doesn't have gold heat sinks and wiring and propellers instead of hanging chains lol ok I'm foolish saying that lol but it's the components costs and that's it's being made in the UK not China where labour is more expensive that reflect the price.
I will post in Gloomshade defense. He doesn't seem to be coming off harsh to me at all. It seems more like some of you are very emotional over a light that hasn't even come out yet and feel the need to defend it for no reason. Gloomshade hasn't attacked anyone, hasn't flammed, hasn't disrespected anyone and yet you all seem to be ganging up on him. Why? because he is not believing the hype as easily as you guys seem to.
The man has done nothing wrong and he has had his posts reported and people jumping all down his throat for nothing. Even threatened by a damn mod for no damn reason. I haven't been on this site very long but the attitude people have displayed in this thread is definitely a turn off.

The only thing Gloom said that was a little out of line is that GN are over charging for this light when no one can make that judgement until the unit has been reviled

Hi I posted in the information section last night as this one was closed. Im curious as to how much wattage the cooling fans/systems in a Ms0006 draw? Reading through this thread lots of people seem hung up on the 75W number but if the new unit uses passive cooling then surely this contributes towards some of the power save? When one led light is compared to another of equal wattage how do you know the efficiency? ie where that power is being used?

yes it dose seem a lot of money for some people but you some times have to put money in to save money but you get 3 years warrant . and a quality piece of kit here in the UK things do cost more to make .
china average wage per hour is£0.79 in the uk its £6.31
look at as this you pay £330.00 spread the cost over 3 years bit like taking out a loan with your self
some thing like £4.00 a month each or like been on hire for 3 years that's how i have all ways looked at it that way
