Lighting new GN Units

Seriously though. I know how hard it is to get things organised just right in a busines. Here's hoping we hear something today ? Really we just want the light to be as good as it can be.:)

Bad news. Looks like end of the month, part supply prob' Im told

Yeah bro they mentioned a week or two ago there had been a delay so it's put it back a few week....I'm sure there doing everything they can to get them finished.

Spoke to the guys at GN today to get an update on the new light and there anticipating slight delays on one or two of the parts but it's only going to delay launch a few weeks so should still be out next month. This is there first production run so its impossible for them to set a release day until they have all the components in hand. They also assured me AFN would be the first to get any new product info and that the unit will be well worth the wait.

Bad times for my plants, there outside and photoperiod and not really ready to start flowering, not sure the 70wcmh I had been using will be up to this lol

Heres what I'm pretty sure of after nagging them for the last few months lol....

actual all draw around 75w
output similar to (180w) MS0006
footprint similar to MS0006
unit is smaller than MS0004
silent cooling system
philips Luxeon Rebels driven at less that 3w each
made in the UK by GN with no Chinese parts
220-240v
out later this month
£330 in VAT

think that's it lol

Haha sound very good, hopefully it can live up to its expectations!
So the average grower should be able to grow 125 under 75watt of light:jaw:

Have anyone looked at the specs / datasheet on these

Hey ksj, I was looking at the latest rebel LEDs. They really do look fantastic, philips recommend running the LEDs lower than rated, improves the reliability while only slitly reducing output but giving much better engergy in to light out efficiency. They produce twice as much light as standard LED.
I checked it out becouse I thought the rumours about the new GrowNothern panals where unrealistic. But if ya do a search you can find 'Engery Saving Trust' measuements on the bulbs. There so good 'EST' are going to have to update their formula 'cos if come up with an efficiency rating of 130% (which is impossible).
