Late October! Man this is starting to suck. I realise that they want it to be perfect before release and wouldn't put out a sub-standard product but we want it now!!! Here's to hoping it's out at the end of the month

Perhaps it is not only about perfection, they have to organize production which has not been there before and that means some hard work and delays, delays.
But as far as I understand them, there will be announcement in late october and sales will start very soon after, they want to be fully stocked at the beginning and they want everything optimal and tested.
That sounds good and I was happy reading their answers. Guys from GN and DP are very optimistic about everything, and so am I.
Besides, Dutch Passion will start selling the same day with GN, that is good news for many of us.
So all we need is a little more patiency, we have already showed some in last half a year, this thread is 7 months old ;-)
GN will release the lights when there ready,if you can't wait buy from somewhere else.
Has any one talked to GN recently?The last time I talked to someone was way back in early may and they said it was being released at the end of june.Now they say maybe the end of October.I'm starting to wonder if they will ever release a new unit but as long as they still have there webb site active I guess we still can hope they will .
Spoke to them this morning its a few weeks away,the biggest hurdles of design,testing,sourcing and fabricating parts is done it's just putting those parts together now. If mid Oct is the 10th until the 20th then mid to late Oct would be closer to the truth. Oh and I've seen a pic of one....your going to be blown away
Two or three weeks is their fresh answer.

I understand how people are frustrated, and weather the later release date is due to logistics, component availability or working out any last minute glitches,it is still better to be disappointed with a late release than to be disappointed with a product which fails.
In the mean time we are still able to grow weed with our current lights.
I imagine GN would like to release the new light asap due to the fact the MS series stock sold out time ago, they're a business after all and need revenue coming in.
GN make great lights and if they are to keep it that way, they need to be sure the product will meet their standards, & to create a product the customer will be happy with.
Release dates are only a guide line, not a binding contract and can be changed at their discretion. All sorts of issues can arise during testing and if they do, they need to be worked out.
We are not kids any more, even if we still like new toys to play with, we as adults understand how life works,shit happens and when shit happens we deal with it.

I know they'll be worth the wait but I'm just impatient, I want them now!!!
Does anyone have any idea how long they are likely to have them in stock for once they start selling them? Demand certainly seems to have outstripped supply in the past. Meanwhile I guess we all just get on with the important business...
