Mephisto Genetics New grower looking for advice.

Any opinion would do really, I think I'm just hoping for someone to have a similar set up and just point me in the right direction of what works best really. Ivested to much money to be yielding half oz or less, I think I'm trying to run before I walk but picture of plants on here are just... wow! That's what I want!

You doing every thing right my man... exactly what I would recommend... start in soil, easy organic nutes with the basic set up ( pH'ing is important to learn, yes you can get away with it in soil but when you do use it you will see a massive improvement in growth). Your well on course dude now its all about the hand on learning... and your right this hobby ain't cheap, normally the expensive bit of kit is the best for the job.

BioBizz is a great place to start. I've been using them for 4ish years, and I love the final product it can produce. Tasty organic buds. I use a light mix, and usually feed for the 1st time after 7 days. I always wanted to use the Bio tabs, when it was just water, now there are teas to brew, silica, pk boosters, so the initial premise of water only, is not the reality.

Tips on stealth
hang your clip on fans on bungees to stop vibration
make a silence box for your extraction fan... unless you by an expensive fan controller the cheaper ones may make it hum loudly
Acoustic ducting is big help as well.
Where is you tent located ?

Thanks man, already feeling better knowing there's guys like you on here! Tent will be located in my spare room upstairs. ( live in a small 2bed house,) I don't have exact measurements for the room but at the moment I'm keep an eye on temp and humidity of the room before going live. 20-25c/40-50%. I'm guessing they will spike once heat and things are set up?. Aslong as I don't hear it downstairs I'm not too bothered, the girlfriend doesn' want to hear it in bed but she'll get used to it! I wont spare the money on fan and controller if it means stealth, but also wouldn' want to spend a ton of money if I'm yielding shit, which is my concern. I just wanna get it right man grow the magnificent looking herb like you guys. Ready to order is an 5"rvk fan with ducting and rhino hobby filter.

Good for a couple of weeks? I thought it would do through the grow? Recommnd light mix, all mix, perlite?

Sorry I'm coming off an 8hr shift I was thinking about tiering in with supersoil or something on the bottom it feeds off the lightmix in the first couple weeks vefore roots reach the other soil

Yes! This is what I mean!, i was going to purchase the biotabs starter pack but then I learnt about the tea brewing an shit and it just threw my out, kind of the same with biobizz, I thought I'd get away with maybe the trio ( grow,bloom,topmax) but then there is a ton of other biobizz nutes! Would the trio work fine for just autos? I learnt I'd also need calmag.

Just over a year ago I was in the exact same shoe's my man... my best advice is follow and read as many journals as you can in all growing styles, study them there could be a style that's more suited to your situation, aims and goals for your garden. Start following the youtube growers as well there is a huge gold mine of info there especial on the DIY projects. I've found if you want to be stealth you've got to build it your self... simply become a weed nerd... I think the misses has nearly had enough of me rattling on about something new I've learnt... she just nods and smiles now.

If your under HPS, you'll get away with just fish mix or grow and bloom, 2 bottles will do you. Cal/mag issues will only really start under LED. I never had issues under HPS. Top max I never rated at all. As a base, grow and bloom will easily get you top quality buds

Hahaha yes man! I'm slightly obsessing over it and constantly on YouTube or forums trying to learn everything. I just keep telling her it will all be worth it! Haha. Thanks man for everything. Probably here from me again soon..

hey dude. Im on my first grow, using biobizz -grow,bloom and top max. I think.theyre great, I like the whole organic thing and they definitely improved my grow. I had been giving 1/4 strength but gradually moved up to full strenght and have had no sign of nute burns.
From what I can tell, the grow/fish mix and bloom are your base N-P-K, the others are more to do with enzymes and microbes in the soil, to make your soil more nutritious for the plant and uptake those nutrients more effectively. I'll definitely be using them again and prob adding root juice and algamic to the mix.

Yield will come and it is well worth growing your own shit. I’m a mediocre grower as far as yields go and it is beyond worth every penny I’ve spent. Although I could’ve saved a lot by joining here before I spent some. But even that money spent got me more in return then if I went and bought some bud somewhere.
