New Grower New grower, watering question

Well I bought a ph tester, and ya my water was up near the 8.0 range... I put ph down in until it got to the 6.4 range... I did notice that it seems to go back to the 8.0 range over time, does the ph down evaporate after a while?

The plants have been coming along fine tho so far in my opinion, second set of leave already and they've only been in the ground about 5 days! I was curious if u found anything on those hard water nutes as well as when I would need to start administering them?

just keep checking your PH daily and as the plants are mostly likely eating the acid up.. My grow did the same thing,after a while it will balance out once their grow some more! Master grower Campo taught me that!

I've been looking at nutrient packages online and ive found the gh hard water series that look like what I might want but would like some conformation before I buy it, would it be a good buy? Also is there a schedule out there I should use with them?

You should wait around 3-4 weeks for nutes from what ive read. And when you mix them use at about 1/4 does and work your way up slowly. Also to add pics, when you are writing a post there is a "world" icon above the text box you type in, 3 icons to the right is the "insert image" button. just click and upload from computer. hope that helps!!

Ok so it's been about 7 days since I've planted them into their permanent homes, plants are looking pretty good except for one of them has leaves that look to be starting to curl up a little. I changed the " door" on my room to a heavy blanket to help insulate and the temp raised to about 82 degrees. I'm thinking I might have to get a fan and filter installed to get the temps back down but I'm thinking the problem might be in my water and I was wondering if my ph problem could be solved if I bought like a brita water filter or something similar?

Also if buying a Brita filter for my ph problem would g.h. Hard water series nutes still work or should I look into something different, also any suggestions on what I could do with my heat problems until my fan/filter comes in in a week or so?

My water is pretty high ph ( like 8.3) i just use PH down and GH maxigrow. get a ph tester and try to get it to 6.5PH. You can also used distilled water and get a calcium/magnesium supplement for your water.
