Hi there from somewhere on the east coast of the US. Been enjoying the forum awhile now, and have recently begun my first ever grow, happily with the full support of my wife. I might start a belated journal soon - I've been shy until now, just surfing through and learning from others' experiences as I go.
I've enjoyed my trees for many years now as someone who works in the arts, and am recently transplanted from California where I could order the stuff for delivery like a pizza. Now I'm in the rural suburbs with no contacts but plenty of room to do my own thing. I exclusively vaporize, done with combustion.
My Think Different is 26 days old and very healthy and bushy. Started out as a whorrly-whatever-you-call-it, a mutant with three-leaf sets instead of pairs. That mutation mostly knocked after in later leaf sets, but it was enough to create a bit of a monster. But a happy green monster that's doing well so far, knock wood. My Pandora's also healthy and happy, but two weeks behind it, so still just getting her legs und.
I have a pretty unprofessional noob basement setup going on - growing a Think Different and a Paradise Pandora under CFLs in a cabinet in a couple of 3-gallon smart pots, Fox Farm Trio for nutes,
OF with some lime for medium, PHed well water, regular old fan blowing, no fancy intake or outtake, I got shameful light leaks and weird jury-rigs for the lights, eye hooks and god knows what. Pictures will embarrass me - but I know they'll also help others help me, and get me better yield, so like I said, I'll try and get up the nerve to do this properly with a journal as I take these ladies further down the road.

I want to end with a question actually, that's what spurred me to post. And it's either a strange question, or stupid, I'm not sure which.
I just got an order of "souvenirs" from a certain large European seed bank that rhymes with Smattitude. Anyhow, I got me some great stuff, and what I'm most excited about is a trio of Polar Lights #3. Inside their plastic baggy (had them removed from breeders packs for stealth) along with the 3 seeds, are four small round white pills. They're only slightly bigger than the seeds, though irregular in size, no smell that I can detect.
Now, I'm new to all this - are these pills customary to receive with the seeds? Do they keep em fresh or something and I just haven't heard of it? Are they after dinner mints? Do they want me to go to a rave? Are they slipping me mickies so Bill Cosby can sneak into my room late at night and have his way?
Thanks for any tips - I'll post pictures later if this remains a mystery - and happy to be finally posting. I've perused many forums online and I'm struck by the unusual sense of community in this one. Feels like everyone's kind to each other here, and that's a hard thing to find online nowadays.
