You're right, as they get bigger they take up the water faster with their larger root system. Learn to judge their weight. Get a feel for them when they are dried out and water them whenever they feel like that.

I need some help though because the left one just isnt slowing down and actually ran into my light so i need help with height issue if someone has a recommendation

Wow lookin nice man!! As for the height issue, u should look into some LST ( low stress training) threads. Its basically just like tying them down, but I'm not exactly the best guy to be explaining it seeing as how I've never actually done it before lol. Lookin good though! Keep up the good work!

Your plants are stretched quite a bit, either from insufficient light or the lights being too high in veg. You node spacing looks to be about 3" or so where it should only be about 1". At this point about all you can do to control the height is to LST it. Tie it off about 1/3 of the way down from the top and pull it over till you feel resistance. Then tighten it up daily. If you can get it horizontal, great. If not, just go as far as you can without risk of creasing the main stem.

alright well its day 37 i think.. something like that ha but i finally am seeing hairs coming out of both of my babies. LSTing really did work i had to do it to the other one as well because i shot up in 2 days but here is how they look.
