Thanks again all, I have just looked up Mars hydro 700. This may sound like a stupid question but would the 700 be as effective as 2 -300s? It would be less costly.

I think the 2 300w would definitely be better. More coverage and about the same wattage. It's also cheaper.

I have the reflector series and have the bloom spectrum on both running I stagger my plants by around 40 days that way there is enough light for my vegging and blooming plants
