Hi AFN members.

Just joined AFN today and also just arrived in barcelona where i can legally grow a few plants. (Whoopee!) H'mm, sitting among a hundred boxes to unpack and sending this off isn't easy but i'll press on . . .
Just ordered Mi5 autos seeds as they are very beginner friendly from the research i've done.
Will post a grow report+ pics in about 6 weeks when the autos are about a month old and both me n the girlfriend have sorted out our new home.
Instead of annoying all the members here with basic autoflower questions that are available here and on the web i have studied everything there is to know about autos before joining today. Of course actually "growing" is much better than mere theory, but nonetheless but i would like to warmly thank all AFN members for the tips and knowledge that i have learnt these past 3 months. It's just gonna be a no frill indoor canna bio soil grow, Mi5 autos, blue CFL for seedlings and then upping the ante to 400 HPS (+son-t-agro bulb). Will feed them 50%/50% veg/bloom and in 4 weeks switch to full bloom. Will try n get the ph soil/water perfect as well as the temperatures, humidity, a 2-weeks from chop down day flush + a trichome perfect moment cut down, then with a perfect dry n' cure and i should achieve my goal of a modest 1st time harvest.
See you all in 6 weeks with my Mi5 grow report!

I love Barcelona!!! Didn't know that you could legally grow there though??? One thing I can say about the HPS is that it puts out some serious heat, and the temps in BCN over the next 6-9 weeks will only be going up. Even though you are going no frills, invest in fans and ventilation now, its much easier to do it now than when your plants are dying on Sunday and nothing is open( at least they have some great grow shops there). I do hydro, in a cabinet, so for me the temps are a big deal. Wish you all the luck and hope that you have a great grow! Enjoy BCN its one of my favorite cities in Europe.

Yes, you're right, ( i feel that we've moved into a huge oven, . . . called . . .Barcelona.)
Thanks for your concern, truly, but no worries. The house's deep basement here where i'm growing has incredibly thick walls(A meter plus thick) so it's very cool down there.
Actually "legal" isn't true, i'd meant to say "tolerated".(Very sorry for the miss-info)
It's the same in holland a year ago when we visited amsterdam where we got a shock to learn that smoking cannabis is actually not legal. but "tolerated"
Basically here in barca the "dam has burst" or rather the fear has gone, and people just smoke everywhere in the streets. The people here don't light up in front of the cops, but sitting in the parks everyone smokes and the cops drive by and don't seem to care . . .
Its the same for a house grow, a few plants and the cops don't seem to mind, tho of course if one grows over 50 plants and you tell every neighbour then maybe there will be a problem, but it'll be a fine and confiscation. No jail time.

-Welcome to the site man. Glad to have you. I'm also growing some MI5, well one female and two males. They are very strong plants indeed, you'll like them. You say see us in 6 weeks, are you not updating as you go? Also, 6 weeks is not long enough. At the least you have about 60 days, but honestly more like 10-12 weeks. Good luck man.

AH SPAIN.....yeah you guys got it made...we in the states still have to keep our damn shades pulled .....
Anyway, welcome Planet X to the forum...MI5 is some good stuff...sounds like ya got a good place to grow it...
