new to auto flowers

I might try hempy again later but for now i will stick to dwc.
I can see where there is a lot less work with hempy though.
Yeah im not near that good, something always happens every grow.
Stress - im good at.
Haha

new growth looks good plants started asymmetrical node growth and stretch .

most of the yellowing is green and growth is in gear no more rusting or drooping , leaves are softer and not crispy any longer . So softwater will start to kill seedlings @ 20 days stripping the calcium and other micro minerals in the hard water. My bad the bypass did not feed the kitchen taps. One plant showed slight nute burn on tips, I reduced fertilizer from 1 tsp 6.4g to 6 grams/4 liters and fed (maxibloom and pro-tekt silica ph 6 )

... Dep'-- is the water softener the ion exchange type that uses salts to recharge? If so, it's not just a Ca thing (some in your feeds still), but the Na+ input! Sodium is shit for any most all plants,... the salt is used to make a highly concentrated brine soln. which strips the bound Ca off of the resin beads, recharging their Ca binding capacity when reg. water is run through again,... the exchange part is, for every ca bound to the bead, an Na+ is booted off into solution,...
Epsoms are MgSO4, which fully dissolves in water... both ions are good for the plant! to treat a defc. use 1tsp/qt for a couple rounds,...

Not sure about the ions but I do have to reload one chamber with salt it's a kinetico unit multi chamber high volume on demand . I will up the epsom from 1tsp /4 liters to 1tsp/liter. So Na+ is a the sodium ion and is what shit all over my plants then??? Its saturday and I am kinda high, no less a welder lol. I aced trade school But forgive my scratching head thinking pose. Does that mean my soft water with the extra na+ is what poisoned my plant? not the low calcium ? the low calcium stunted growth mostly though correct? Also causing the yellowing edge and rusting on one leaf to start.

Regards

Well i'll go with the water softener done it in the den with the calcium stripping salt . The rest is who gives a fuck csi cause it didn't help me any when i was actually having problems with a sick plant . :aha: I guess hindsight is 20/20

...sorry Dep', I was away,... yeah, never use this type softened water for plants,... the Na build up to toxic levels fast! it also interferes with Ca uptake ...not even tough house plants can take it for long,...
