Grow Mediums New to dwc need help asap !!

Thanks Mole grower ,thats some of the best advice i hv gotten all day , i would love for u to stop by qnd take a peek in here any time and drop some wisdom !!

And i know what u mean Vas deferens , its nothing like the feeling when the harvest is finishing .

Thanks think diffrent , ima hv to grab some of that asap. Is it ok to mix with the GH trio . Is it pricey

Yeah It is ok to mix it with them, just with moderation. Less is often more. I bet you can find smaller bottle for quite a good price. I like to use Canna's Rhizotonic for promoting better root growt (i use even that with just half strenght what the manufacturer advices) and it works nice so i'd recommend that one. I bet there are plenty of good ones to pick from. Am I right in saying many of them are basicly seaweed extracts?

CAM01158.jpg . I also hv this to it says it has seaweed extract in it i think . But i think my problem is the rock wool is staying to wet and the roots r not searching for water but i hv the water level 2 inches below the net pot .

What is something else i can use to start my next seeds in other than rockwool that wont stay so wet .

I use rockwool or root riot.

Once the plant gets bigger the rockwool will not be an issue
Are they 2" cubes or 4" cubes?

I have found the root riot to be great for germination. I just soak the seed until I see the shell has cracked. Pop it into the root riot until I just can't see it.
Boom 12 -48 hours later they are popped and sending roots all through the cube.
I have had no issues with them holding too much moisture or anything else.

I have had a plant in rockwool that just takes her time to lay the roots all the way down. I think the situation here is similar then.. Plant is just feeding of the moisture buildup in the cube. Try taking just 1ml or 2ml of the reservoir water and apply it to the rock wool to give a little energy to the plant? Plant should be somehow pushed to search for more water by growing the roots. Dryer "soil" would do that but I still believe she will get over it this phase anyway.

That bottle seems to be someshort of B1 vitamin solution. I cannot say anything else of it..

This bottle you have is "Thrive Alive B-1™ (Green)" by Technaflora.

Manufacturer's product page says this:

"Thrive Alive B-1™ Green is a powerful preventative and restorative general-purpose plant tonic that stimulates rapid and lush vegetative growth, and will ensure the success of floral crops by promoting profuse flowering during blossoming. OMRI Listed® Organic, Thrive Alive B-1™ Green contains vitamins and nutrients which are cultured in premium quality British Columbian sea kelp.

Extremely concentrated, Thrive Alive B-1™ Green is safe and easy to use for both hydroponic and soil applications, facilitating vigorous and healthy root development for both cuttings and established root systems while protecting your plants from transplant-related shock.

Ideal for all types of gardening, Thrive Alive B-1™ Green can be applied as a soil drench, rejuvenator, or as a foliar spray. As a soil drench, when taking cuttings and in conjunction with Rootech Cloning Gel, Thrive Alive B-1™ will quickly build viable root systems and initiate rapid stem and shoot growth. When applied as a rejuvenator, Thrive Alive B-1™ Green can be utilized prior to taking cuttings, ensuring healthy mother plants that will continue producing new shoots. Lastly, Thrive Alive B-1™ Green is an outstanding foliar spray application in the house and garden for promoting a plant’s full potential. When used weekly as a foliar spray throughout the vegetative cycle and into the first week of flowering, it nurtures a “green up” effect: keeping leaves strong and lush, while promoting cellular division at the internodes."

So I would say you might want to give it a go if the bottle is not ancient. Use only very small amounts and be really sure to check the Ph carefully after application. I have never heard of this product or brand.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I must add that nice ppm you got there! :Sharing One:

420 PPM :five:I'll share 1 to that lol "AFN smoke out"

Google "root riot" cubes Shed ,there much better than the wool ,but you should be fine with water 2 " below the pot :Cool bud:

Ok thanks and ya i applied some to the rez . And i also applied some View attachment 436029. When the lights came on which was about 5 hrs ago . And i checked the roots and i can see 2 more new roots coming out ofthe net pot . So i guess we will see in a couple of days

But when i gt paid i think ima go pick up some more parts of the GH series to add to the trio . So i can hv a more complete system for the dwc grows in the future cause im committed to gt this going .

Even if all 15 of my various auto flower seed collections dies lol. Im nt stopping until i master the dwc demon thats trying to make me gv up lol !!! And thanks guys im bout to look up the root riot cubes to .
