New Grower New to growing pop in

What's going on this is my 1st/2nd grow 1st one wast anything to be happy about Stones slap:no: well here's a Lil run down on what I'm running and what girls are going few bits still need as money's abit tight at the min

Well got my self a 600w hps temps are high but girls are going fine so I think
80*80 tent 6in fans 10ltr pots bio bizz soil hesi bloom complex and hesi phosphorus plus. have not used any feeds yet waiting to use them as only got them for flowering.

And the girls iv got going are sweetmango she had a hard time starting had to help her out the seed didn't think she was going to go any where then she surprised me she has been topped didn't mean to, in the black pot we have biodiesel from start growth has been good no problems at I'm in love :drool: well enough of me going on here's some pics from week 3 and week 4 will be on week 5 on Sat hope to have some help just saying if I'm all good all on track etc etc

All looking fine health wise! They look a little short though, did you keep your light low? They still have time to get some stretch on!
Which biobizz did you go for? Allmix or lightmix?

Have you tried running your auto's with MH rather than HPS?
These auto's love the vegging light from start to finish...

Yea I did have the light close just because the biodiesel didn't start stretching and wanted to try keep them both around the same height, I have moved the light up today to give them that stretch hopefully the still got time. Using allmix..

@ripster I did try growing under a different light some on had give to me I think it might of been a MH as the light wasn't red and by week 10 the growth and roots was poor an ill put a pic up not sure if it was the light or I did something wrong these was my 1st try not whats going now

I'd say your lights were to far away. When I run mine, I do it 2 different ways. 1 and my favorite, is my T-5 HO 8 bulb 430 watt Fluorescent Fixture. I always keep it 6 inches from the top of the plants. The other way is my 1000 watt HPS and there again, I keep the plants about 9 to 10 inches away from that one. Forget about trying to make them stretch. No need to do that. Plus, keeping them on a 20/4 light schedule is best. How long is your lighting on for?

Yeah of had a feeling the light might of been a bit far from the plants but where a friend give me it it is a old light so wasn't sure if it's life had gone as wellas I have read some where they can lose lumms. I've got the light about 10 Inc away now did have it so I could just feel about feel the heat on the back of my hand. I've got the lighting on 17/7 just because of going bed and noise, 24 hr lighting is defo to much electric for me at the moment still waiting for the 1st bill lol. Just one questions should I have my desk fans run 24/7???

And just for everyones info pH is 7 going in and 6.7 coming out. Not really been checking it as didn't have a ph meter but now feeding got one of a pal

Nice selection of pics there grobig! I've found 20-4 and 18-6 to be the best light schedule so far, and yeah mate i'd say i'ts best to keep all your fans on 24/7.

So that makes your soil about 6.3 which is fine at this point for nute uptake. You might want to try and swing it up a little bit. You can see ideal PH for nute takeup in this chart (look at the right hand side for soil)
