I imagine he'll stop by in the next day or two and might have some advice on what light spectrum to use at this stage.

Are you not running lights at night&having4/6hours dark in the afternoons?If so excuse the ignorance..I'm doing four 2fast2vast autos just at4weeks now&a la diva @3weeks. The2fast2vast are only5/6inches tall with around12small branches/nodes,the la diva has shown her female pistols at 19days&only has 3nodes?but the2fast2vast ain't shown nothing yet,theyre in 60%john innes soil6.7ph 40%perlite&were under400w metal halide just switched to600w DS hps,IV heard some of these 2fast2vast can go to 12weeks?Which to me defeats the object as i could have vegged4photo fems for 4weeks&cropped probably 4x as much in same time frame.Autos have their place but IMO are still far too unstable&you never get info on the ruderalis they use in their autos or2the same.im hoping from weeks4/8they are gonna grow like crazy&shut me the hell up&change my mind but i just lost my job,im a single parent&electric bill going through the the roof.they been on sensi pH perfect grow &got canna &the Buddha's tree bloom ferts(&a bit of sensi pH perfect bloom left also)IL try most things once but unless there is a fast&vast improvement IL be going back to photoperiods..As a test I stuck a strawberry cheese photo fem in at same time&on exactly day28i fimmed it& putting it away in a cupboard4 12hours a day so if any auto does go to12weeks IL be able to compare baring in mind the photo will have had6hours less light a day for last8weeks of its life..

Brother man..can't wait to see the results you get (photofem vs autofem). Anyways..the 3 autofem's I got going right now - they all only like started flowering on Day 55-60.. makes me wonder if I were to get photofems and just switch her to 12/12 at Day 50 or 60.. wonder if I'll get the same results ... plus the photofems can prob endure more stress than Auto's and r prob more forgiving too. Anyways..Cheers bro.. ....and Def hit me up with ur results.

I'm growing Stress Killer by Royal Queen Seeds and my freebie seed Cheese by Canuk seeds. After spending more time on AFN I'm really excited to try Dinafem and Mephisto next grow.

Hey brother man.. I was just wondering about your RQS Stress Killer.. how long did she take to flower?? I have a RQS-Royal Bluematic going right now - bout 60 days in (germinated her on 28/01/17 from seed) and she only started flowering bout 55 days in :drool: ..she seems a little slow.. wondering if it is genetics. Anyways.. come chk out my grow s'time bro.. Cheers,

I like to remove leaves, but many growers will tuck their bigger fans under the new branches coming out below. I think you would be safe tucking or even starting lst if you want.

@jingo you defoliate bruv?? Does that slow down growth or have any issues arisen doing that?

Yeah, I can't help myself. I do it all the way through at any stage of growth beginning right around node four or five. I do it early on the main stem to keep from getting that classic tree look it'll slow that mainstem down and make the side branches come out more.

It does slow the plant down sometimes and it also causes hormones to shoot out the different directions and it can be unpredictable sometimes. It's always dangerous if you're not right on target with your nutrients environment and everything else. Like you really wouldn't want to de foliated a plant that was having any kind of other stress going on.

The only training I utilized on this plant here was the de foliation and I really screwed up on the nutrients with this girl. Never the less, it still yielded 11 ounces of really nice nuggets and a matter fact I'm smoking some right now.
