Newbie ignorance

Hi, this is my first post. I planted ILGM Blueberry auto on Jul 8th tomorrow will be 7 weeks. On the ILGM description it says "flowers 8 weeks" my plants look good and the buds are plumping up. When it says flowers 8 weeks does that mean from preflower to harvest it should be around 8 weeks, or from germination to harvest is 8 weeks, average? They don't seem close to ready and the preflower started week 4.

I count from first true leaves. That seems to keep me close-ish to breeder times. Autos we count from the beginning, roughly....
Your setup, temps, nutes, everything is different than mine, and this will affect run time. Photos we count from the first day lights are changed to 12/12.
Outdoor autos for me run loooong.

Another thing that contributes is when would you or I cut? Picking ripe fruit is really a personal choice... what's ripe for one is early for someone else.

Thank you, I'm doing everything wrong newbie style. I wish I would have found this site earlier. I'm growing in miracle soil. 4 parts of their seed starting mix to one part full strength miracle grow. Using the Fox Farms trio at half strength. Have a little clawing happening but the plants seem pretty happy. I LSTd them and one has a nice even canopy and the other is wide but the main cola took over. I can't seem to add photos but from your response I have one week or more left. The trichomes are clear and starting to smell. I love this site btw.

I know we all point and laugh at Miricle grow... or boo the whole GMO thing, but back in the day, miracle grow was commonly used in outlaw grows.
My first runs were in MG. It worked. Better options? Hell yes, but it moved product out the door.

Some find a style and that's it they're happy, for others it's an ever evolving craft. More to learn than time in 3 lifetime's.

To attach pics, hit the select files button below and navigate to the photo wanted and select, that's about it. I've never had issues with size limits so no worries there.

Hmmm maybe? Been a couple years, there might be a minimum post? Although it would have to be low, always new people in the infirmary with pictures.

Watch the trichomes. If you don't have a loupe or scope, pick up a 40 or 50x loupe or scope to see those trichomes as they will tell you when it's actually done. I've never made sense out of auto seeds info when they say 8 weeks as that would only be 56 days seed to chop. Maybe there are some that are ready that quick .

hint -> breeder time framez only apply to plantz grown at area 51 hehe heya @C21H30O2 and to afn! and seriously tho, breeder estimatez are all basically, well, numerical semanticz, lol they get thoze numberz from plantz grown in ultra-optimum conditionz, and they very seldom apply to the rest of us that live in the real world, lol i personally have never paid the least bit of attention to any numberz...for me, the plant will be done when it'z done ppp
