Hey afn Have a problem. Noticed this leaf this morning on one of my plants. This is the worst of it i could find. But the other leafs are starting to show the same symptom. I have 6 plants being fed from the same res. They are fed 4 times a day roughly 3/4 gallon per plant total . I checked the ph this morning and it was really low at 4.8 i got it adjusted back in range. Am I good to continue feeding? Im pretty sure it's ph related but I'm not sure how to tell if nute lock is happening. Thanks!

That's a lock out. Do you have a soil probe? If you got the pH rite you should see improvement purdy quick.

Right on. Should I flush with plain ph water or can I just keep feeding as normal? Thanks go!

Imo you are good to feed with a pH'd mix.

Sent from my comfy chair.

...need more info mate, can you fill out the patient form in the highlighted section above this one? Just c/p it into here, and fill in,... This is definitely a nute issue, pH suspect,... even Ca can be locked out at that range! Water source really matters in hydro,....

Sorry! Was on mobile at the time I think i got it sorted after a flush of ph'd water and then going back to full strength feeding We will see though. I'll fill this out for future reference though.. Thanks Waira!
Problem:
Brown/burnt looking running along some fan leafs "veins"
Medium/grow method:
Coco 3 gal fabric pots
Feed: and supplements used:
GH Florabloom, Calimagic
water source:
Tap Ph'd after nutes
Strain/age:
3bears OG 3/4 weeks into flowering
light used:
600wHPS
Climate:
indoor 77freedom units
Additional info:
Was only showing on a few small fan leafs. I think i caught it early enough. Lets hope!:d5:

Are you doing about 15-20% run-off each time, or are you feeding 4x/day? Coco is a peculiar medium, and can't be treated like true soil,.. more like hydro in many ways actually,... that run-off amount keeps nute salts from building up,... do you monitor the EC/ppm and pH going in, and out? this is how you check on the build-up in there,... What's the water like there, pH, hardness? The pH should be about 6.0 in coco,... once that's in range, the nutes won't lock out,... but salt build-up can lead to pH and uptake issues as well!
The symptoms look like P defc. to me, from that low pH lockout,.. do the run-off pH and ppm/EC test as well,... Flushing in coco is done differently as well, or you risk screwing up the CEC of the coco,... it's not recommended that straight water goes in, always with Ca-Mg at least, if not nute solution,... flushing call for RO/Di water, with 150ppm Ca-Mg, plus 150ppm nutes, pH to 6.0,.. pour through until run-off is at or near input values,....

Hey, Waira. They are being fed 4x/day and once a week being pulled from the tent and watered till run off. Was kinda hoping that would help with salt build up. I have never monitored the EC/PPPM or pH out. But i do monitor the pH before watering with tap water. My tap comes out at 7.1 and i have tried to keep the pH between 5.7-6.2. I'm not sure what caused my rez to drop so dramatically. I have never heard of CEC is that Cation Exchange Capacity? Thats what a quick google brought up.. Thanks Waira! learn something new everyday

coc isn't real fogiving with certain things mate, so I recommend doing some home work here in the coco section, and check out CANNA brand's website as well, lot's of good info there,... get a TDS or EC meter, and a good pH meter with the right storage solution and calibration solutions 7.0 and 4.0 to keep it in prime shape,.. doesn't take much to knock them off calibration,... yup CEC... coco is a Ca hog, binding it strongly to the particles and keeps it from being absorbed until the coco is sated, then it give/takes readily,...
