I have 3 months before I'm legal to grow. I have almost all my grow equipment now. Got it used and setup my tent with one exhaust/air system and I'm not sure how good it is and if it will work for me. So I was thinking I could grow some tomatoes as close to an autoflower grow as possible and see if I have any major issues with temp, humidity etc.

Is this an OK idea?

In my limited experience issues with temp and humidity can change in 3 months but I would guess that any experiences is better than not. I have also heard peppers are suppose to be a good analog. I have grown peppers in my back yard for years but found growing them inside, hydroponically more challenging.
