Still nice though! :thumbsup:A tip to make good macro shots is, use good lights, preferably photo lights with nice daylight temperature/Kelvin, doesn't have to be expensive, but the better the lights are the easier good budshots and macro shots are made.

Haha wasn't planned but sheer luck/coincidence to post that on 4.20 hehe

I must admit , i was just too lazy on the light part and in hyperactive squirrel mode that day... The worst part is, I even have plenty of filmlights laying around since ages , and so I totally agree with you, that using those over growlights is the right way to go.

Edit:
Btw, just saw an offer for gvm lights- they give 2 for paying 1 right now on their website. Gvm is cheaper china stuff, but when I had just 1 color led being malfunctioning after years, got a free replacement, and i don't even needed the colour option . So costumer support seems okay. With that in mind Gvm quality is okay, for what you pay. Don't expect arri quality though. Best is, just try them 30 days by buying on amazon... and don't buy a panel, get a single source led, think futurewise, there can't be enough light and you absolutly don't want that missing stop when it’s needed.

The 2nd week of year 2026 started crazy stupid for me... I lost balance and glitched on an icy road, trashed my left hand. Nothing broke but damn, can't really lift heavy stuff nor type with more than 5 fingers...so I had no update and gardening on delay for a few days. But, anyways, the 3 girls now have been transplanted into bigger pots day before yesterday. Growth was slow at start, slower than usual as something must have been off in the starterpots. Clearly my fault, 100% I must have f**ked something up, most likely slightly overwatered - which easily happens fast in these crappy pots and why I normally never use them. Next time I'm starting seeds again in my trustworthy diy 500ml airpots - a plastic cup from a milkproduct with trillion tiny holes burned in , which makes it near impossible to overwater. These pots just now didn’t make sense as they wouldn't last long enough. I chose 1gallon instead.

Next Update with pics again, and sorry for the delay.

20th January 2026 - Day 24 AND Day 7

Back to the 3 girls on day 24 - well wait, above I said Day 7 also. So long story short, after the cursed start, I decided to take the 2 remaining beans in the 5 pack, soaked them, 1 made it , one didn't even started. Sad but it fits fully into the "cursed" theme of this grow so far. Anyway, that one , that made it already looks better at Day 7 than the other 3 just a week ago. 2 of the 3 girls are slowly doing better , the third one, I'm not caring for that one any longer - she's just behind.
Well, could be mad about it or accept a natural selection ...

So please welcome SMC #4: (here on day 4)

So, yes , I had a little overwatered early on. That solved and put aside, I'm still on the troubleshoot. Something must be off, just no idea, what it is. Ph is fine, gradually up ec from 0.2 to 1.2-1.3 slowly over days , there's little less humidity , so vpd is not perfect but still in the okay range.

I used the same shitty plagron coco bricks as usual, same water (destilled water) to unbrick them.

I'm using this nova 1part line by Terra Aquatica - for the first time - and maybe that's part of the issues.

STILL, the same TA product works totally fine with my wife's DP red tropicana auto on rockwool , actually that plant does exactly what I hoped for with the 3 smc girls. Explosive growth, green plants. Bit jealous, because my wife literally "don't " care enough yet got such an result:

The auto actually is even a day younger than above shown smc'.

Anyway, for the coco I'm switching back to my trusty flora tripart again.

Later today I will add some up to date pictures, the shown ones are from few days ago and a lot happend meanwhile again.

NUMBERS INCOMING:
The last Blue Zushi now dryed and came to exactly 53g, of which 49.5g are rocks and now curing a few weeks. 3.5g turned out not so dense but otherwise nice quality - ideal for a testsmoke while the rest is curing... Not record breaking weight , but near exactly what I expected (my bet was 50g).

Another cursed day ? Not really. Girls did their thing.switched back to tripart now for the in coco growing plants .
