NLxBB that didn't auto, showing poss. micro-def..

Sorry man, I'm an idiot.. I "liked" it, but never responded.. After a couple treatments of microbes/micros/macros, I've been able to get the plants to bounce back.. It's a photo NLxBB quirk.. I do grow under COB but I also have an HPS in there.. I did both the Epsoms and foliar feeds to no avail.. pH and lack of nutrients lead me to bulking up and now everything looks great!!
For me, the earth juice microblast at 10ml/2L worked wonders. Glad all is well! ~Cheers

So I'm back because I'm not quite sure I'm outta the woods with this plant.. I had given the plant a watering with molasses, touch of some microbes, little liquid kelp, some bat guano (very little), some GO liquid compost tea and maybe something else.. Came home to the plant looking kinda rough.. Almost the entire plant is light green and I had pulled off some 2-3 dozen dead or dying leaves.. Buds are still growing, and some of the leaves are turning purple.. Wasn't aware NLxBB turned purple, so I figured it's been a progressive deficiency.. pH has been hovering between 6.3-6.9.. I think I may have hit the limits of the soil I'm using.. Perhaps I should've transplanted up and re-stocked the pot w/ more fortified soil.. I had top-dressed it with the soil when I transitioned to flower and have done a couple life-tea applications, but it's just sorta sliding outta control.. Here are some pictures for illustrative purposes..

:toke: JT-- long term defc.'s like yours often need continued treatment, it's difficult to get caught up, much less ahead of demands,... and without the dedicated supplements for this, you've had to go shot-gun-blast with things in hopes of getting enough in there,...tiny amounts aren't helping either,... I don't trust that pH probe, the skinny rod units are usually crap,...
... looks like P defc. is kicking in, likely lack-of,.. the color burnishing is a symptom, unless your plant is getting cool nights? NLx BB may get some color, but it's not a known purple strain,... the large necrotic spots are P defc., and the yellowing could be N and/or P combo,... are those leaves from the lower parts of the plant? mid-tops, further yellowing,... P related, might be S kicking in now too,.. often overlooked, S is a econdary nute, and the plant needs significant amounts of it,.. I don't see anything in you inputs that covers this,.... epsoms is a good choice- MgSO4, 1tsp/qt,... feed more JT! What's the NPK#'s on the bat poo?

Yeah, I definitely don't trust the probe that much and it's about time I get an Accurate 8.. I had a CWP pH meter for when I did hydro and it worked great..

Well, the basement stays at a comfortable 72F during the day and doesn't dip much lower at night.. I had been having a feeling that the soil is still lacking in P from the last adjustments I made.. Had this thing autoflowered, I think the soil would've been perfectly matched for autos, so I think I'm onto something here, however I have a ton of photo seeds that I wanna start cycling through and had considered vegging out photos while I grow autos.. Once the last auto comes down, up-transplant the photos and then switch the lights over.. I think the general limit of the soil is roughly 3.5 months, depending on the plant's vigor/size/etc, based off of a couple previously grown autos that went well over 100 days... I'm sure I confused deficiencies then with what I presumed was the end-of-life for the plants..

Here is a group shot of the organic stuff I have to work with (there's a big container of epsom salts that isn't visible in the picture as well) but I also want to throw out there that I have an entire compliment of hydro nutes, if I don't have enough of what I need here.. Money is kinda tight this month so I may not be able to purchase much in the way of supplements but I can definitely try!!!

Thanks again for the wisdom!!!!!!!

Also, the leaves that I've been pulling have been MOSTLY from the bottom, however it seems that it is all over..

Another really odd aspect is that 1 branch, just 1, is still fully green and looking amazing while every other one is affected..

Ah! that TM-7 has the micro- goods! S and Mg too,....... get some P and K in there,...might be you can use the hydro nutes for a fast PK fix, all readily available forms, vs organics that need time the break down and all that,... yeah, S is the only nute that seems to hit the entire plant, but as an immobile nute, tops usually are first and worst!,... Have you checked out the pics in the Defc. Pic Depot here?

Awesome to hear!!!! I had seen it on another forum and the guy who was using it, grew some monsters, so I figured it'd be a good humic/fulvic/micro supp. every once in a while.. I've tried not to hit the autos with it that much because I don't want to over-do it, but all of my outdoor plants LOVE it!!!

I suppose I was reluctant to hit them with hydro nutes at first because I had read in a few places that a lot of those chemicals can destroy the soil biota, so I'm hoping a single, MAAAYBE double application won't hurt it.. I had taken a TSP of all of the organic stuff I had, into a gallon of water, added molasses, TM-7, microbes, etc..., shook it up a few times, got the granules nice and small and then gave about half of it to the plant last night before lights out.. Only a couple small necrotic leaves since yesterday morning, so I'm hoping I may have at least slowed it down.. When I get home tonight, I'm gonna mix up a half gallon w/ full strength PK Booster and see how much the plant will take..

About how long do soil plants take to turn around after something like this, on average?? I'm used to seeing instant results with hydro and have YET to truly have a problem in soil since having gone organic.. I love soil now!!!!!! lol

..over the next couple days things should slow down, and halt -hopefully! :goodluck: ... don't expect much reversal correction, she'll finish looking haggard no matter what, but the buds are what matters, right?

So glad I checked on this first thing!!! I went down a few minutes ago and each day, I'd been pulling less and less necrotic leaves, and this morning, didn't have to pull anything.. Globally, she looks like hell, and if I were old-school and trying to sell it, I'd be in for some shit, but the terps are there, the buds are building and the plant seems to have slowed down it's death!!!

I can't thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still another 4 weeks or so to go, so still plenty of time to kill her!!!!! lol

Now last question, should I feed every time now, or just once a week w/ regular waterings alternating??

...keep on the inoculants, weekly,... feed 2-3x/week, mildly to keep levels up but not overloaded; make sure the P-K #'s are much higher than the N,... watch those leaf tips for any sign of burn, that's your clue to back off the nutes some,... if you stay organic or mostly organic, you don't need to have much of a cleansing period if any at all,.. (some call it flush, but whatever, it means no more nutes, just water):greenthumb:....
