Hardly any of my plants stink, and if they do, it's not much at all. I've never been able to figure out why. And I get no major smells, despite using good doses of Terpinator and other budding additives. Many or even most would consider you and I lucky in this respect; with major stink while growing definitely a downside and hassle for most growing indoors. As noted, If you want, stink, select autos that are simply known to totally reek, such with skunk, diesel, etc. lineage; and reported by growers as reeking.
I recall growing Dutch Passion AutoBlueberry, and I would not have selected it, if I expected strong stink while growing. It had no blueberry smell or much smell at all (fine with me) nor was it blue (not expected), but it tasted good, was potent, was unique, etc. (what everyone wants)
Why do you want plants that stink while growing vs. the ideal for most -- don't stink while growing but develop strain-characteristic aroma after curing?
If you want classic skunky smells, these are probably more from sulfur-containing volatile organic compounds (such as -SH/sulfhydryl/thiol groups and sulfides), rather than from terpenes. You may look into supplementing your media or soil with appropriate sulfur-containing supplements (make your medium more like fresh volcanic-derived soil, that is rich with this stuff, such as I presume is common in Hawaii). Hopefully, others can help you more regarding this. I presume organic growers are more familiar with how to make their plants stink by altering soil composition.
