New Grower noob dropping a mephisto bean

Thanks trapper. I will remove the cfls and se how it looks in the am. I was concerned that the LEDS were to far away and it would stretch ( they are 24 inches above seedling). I am still in that hyper sensitive mode. This is my first grow with a different strain than my first that are nirvana auto blue mystics in day 50, which I must say have been some very forgiving plants for a newbie.

Which LED are you using? It may be the case that you can bring them in to about 18-20"

I totally get "hypersensitive mode" You want to make sure you're not fouling anything up.

I have two mars-hydro 300 watt lamps. I dropped the one over the seedling a few inches lower so it is now around 18 inches. Hopefully in about 20 days when I harvest my first grow I can start chilling out. I spent ages 15 to 42 smoking Mexican brick weed in Oklahoma. Then I relocated. I have been two years in Florida without. I go home to Oklahoma a couple of times a year but I am lucky to "chill" one day while I am there. My goal is to pack a freezer full of vacuumed packed bags and closet full of mason jars so that I never have to worry about this again.

Dont worry about them streatching to much. That LED is pretty intense. I have mine pretty high up, and my plants have not had a problem with stretching. Just letting them grow into the LED. This is my first time doing led's though. I used to roll with CFL's. I always kept them 12 inches above seedlings the first week.

Guy, you must not get out much to be in PBC with no weed. :dunno: But don't feel bad, I was in Eukiah Ca. pre MMJ and couldn't even score a joint although I could smell both smoke and fresh every time I walked out the motel door. There was some kind of crackdown and everyone I met was edgy. Your drought will end for good soon.

My issue is that my gf and I are both in a profession that is generally a little up tight. I have met a few people here and there that I am sure could probably hook me up but I can't risk any problems. In the past everyone I dealt with I knew from the time I was kid. Also the thought of driving here and there and the hassle of buying meds is not appealing to me. She is involved in a few community groups etc... and I just can't risk any type of embarrassment for her. She has been pretty cool about me growing. A happy chick makes for a happy dick. ( my version of a happy wife makes for a happy life.)

I've been high most of the last 40 years and I can attest that Florida is a tough place to find weed if you don't know anyone ... getting back into growing has saved me thousands and allowed my wife and I to Vape mass quantities of 'Top Shelf' weed w/o a thought to running out ...
