New Grower Noob grow, N lights, Sour Diesel, Fast Haze

Thanks, rebelroy.
The house is under construction :Stones slap: so all the scraps found a good home. Geez, now I gotta get a bigger fan :D:

Nice DIY grow space bro....I think your plants will love it..

Thanks, boogieman. All the great info and help here is making this first grow far less terrifying!

Based on rebelroys good advise, I'll be adding cfls this weekend, with some duct work to manage heat.
A silly question on feeding the girls: according to the Easy Dirt Guide, the first week of 3 true leaves calls for 1 tsp of fish emulsion... I can't find whether that is a one time dose for the week, or given with every watering?
Thanks!

Okay, can't have rebelroy mocking my fan, so here's our new one:

Welcome to AFNlogo bro from da Swamp and are you Needing advice on Fish Emulsion

I use the Alaska Fish Emulsion 5-1-1
I water with it at small doses every week
Even dilute it and useit as a Foliar first few weeks
Kinda stinks but they LOVE it!!!

Ask away if ya need any help !!!

:Stones slap:**groooooaaannn**... LMAO!!... got some crackers for that cheeezz?! Hmm, I've not seen WG's guide, but he's a fantastic grower! It depends on how nutrient loaded this soil is,... auto's must have it mild at first, as they stunt/burn rather easily... nice thing about fish goo (Swampy's technical term!) is that it's mild... better still, foliar feeding at 1/4 strength is a safe bet too, as you're keeping the nute' soln. away from the roots; they get cooked, the whole plant stunts and shocks out,... foliar is much less likely to do this, especially at low conc.'s,.... Grow More makes an equivalent fish goo, 5-1-1, but has had some stank tuned out of it! ... lots of good micro'nutes in the goo too,... also, worm-poop teas are a great choice...Swamp can really help you with that, as he's quite skilled now with this method!... I'm late to the game on this, but I found a local source of horse poop worm compost to make tea with, and top-dress,... it calls for 1 cup of compost /1gal water, let sit for a day or two,... a little molasses or even honey (say ,2 tsp/gal), mixed in will give the microbes a big juice boost to multiply! tea's carry mild nutes as well as the beneficial bacteria to the soil; a well established 'herd' down there will be a huge benefit to your plant! :woohoo:- say the roots! Look it up here or elsewhere get specifics...

I tend to overthink...
Girls are looking good, I believe, no signs of salt burn or chlorosis.
They seem to be booming, soil is good til tomorrow ( I like to keep drier soil, is this a good thing with autos?). Think I'll feed 1/2 dose of the Alaska fish with their next water.
Fast haze is healthy, I think, but lagging. If it's an 80 day auto, this may be on track.
N lights to left, Fast haze center, Sour Diesel right. :Holy Moly:
Nobodies died yet!!! :beast:

You ain't kidding, swampman, it got da odor!
What ratio do you use for foliar?
And gotta ask, what part of the swamp you from?

waira, roots is it! (I even gave a 1/2 shot of molasses on Sunday to boost the beneficial's.
I have some background in soil science, autos scare me because there seems to be a very fine balance between root growth and veg. I always tended to make a plant "suffer" to establish a sound root base, but apparently autos are prima-donas, and they don't wait for anyone.
I will try to mimic your juice for root health; is the foliar what you recommend for the NPK, with micros going to the roots during watering?
Thanks for all the great input! Do you "bubble" you're water?
