New Grower Noob grow, N lights, Sour Diesel, Fast Haze

Might have to look into canna stuffing, swampman! :D:

"Toker Grin" "Toker Grin" "Bud Worship" Oh, how I love a plateful of goodness!! "Ducky High 5" That yield is truly excellent Red, she looked very dense to me, but WOW,...that's quite a bit more than we guessed from our end! "Need Weed break" *** I'm still of two minds about frz. drying,...but I should have another proper go at it before I dismiss it! I believe it's necessary, for quality results, to give the buds 3-4 days at about 45-55% RH, mild Temps, to go through the biochemical processes and changes that take place after harvest, which includes chlorophyll breakdown, before frz. drying.... if the RH is pretty low, I think the plant tissues dry too much, too soon, to allow these changes to occur...I know where you're at the RH gets quite low,...:Stones slap: And RH can be a beating to control at times! But if you can find a way,.. "Muddy's Thumbs Up" How did the aromatics turn out?.... Did you say you have some mini boveda packs? Do be careful, in that dry a climate, to make sure the buds don't go overdry,... this can kinda ruin them,...loss of aromatics, harsh hot fast burning,... even if they rehydrate some, they lose something,...
My better half had a really, REALLY bad day today, lots of pressure.
Smoke report will follow, but after 3 good hits-
Lovin' life, talking to the t.v., laughing her ass off (now "Sleep Tight").
I do believe it knocked her "dingus" in the dirt. Hmmm. :worm:
Off to the jars! :High 5: :peace:
<--"Ha ha ha ha ha.." "Woozy..?" ooOooo,...that sounds spot-on Red! Just what the doctor ordered! I'm so glad she has the bases covered like this,... You grew a perfect ying-yang of buzzes this time...."Reds Big Grin"

Just the CFL's on the side, and lots of tucking, Otto.
I think the extra pop from the foliar must have also played a big role. Even after flowering, per swampmans advise, I was wiping the leaves instead of spraying, to avoid hurting the flowers. With nitrile gloves (un-powdered), so the oils on your hands don't clog her up.

Your combination of magical green thumbs and a lot of thorough and careful attention (more than my girls get for sure) make all the difference - that is the first time I've heard of anybody actually wiping nutes on to leaves - that shows real dedication! The crop you've harvested shows how much love your gals got!

It took us by surprise, too, waira! "MossyWiggle"
When we went to jar, we realized we had overlooked something critical.... the jars. :WTF:
All we could get on a short hop was 1/2 pint jars... filled 14 of them. "Super Shooter"

No freezer for NL. As the fast haze continues to cure, the missus decided the jar cure was her preferred smoke. Less of a "green" taste, deeper flavors and smells.

No boveda packs here! "Reds Big Grin" The buds might have had a bit more moisture going into the jars than I wanted, but no way did I want to overdry! This long weekend helped out, I was burping 14 jars 3 times a gay for the first 2 days! Now it's starting to stabilize at about 64%.
Missus is going to try some more today, I'll try to keep her lucid enough for a report on taste and smell. "RU Stoned..?"

Thanks, Otto, it was quite the team effort! :tiphat:
[QUOTEthat is the first time I've heard of anybody actually wiping nutes on to leaves ][/QUOTE]
LOL! I missunderstood swampmans advise (my fault) on when to use it. "Woopsadaisy" I was wiping the leaves with a very mild tea in the mornings, then cleaning off the residue after work with pHed water. I might do that again in a side by side test to see if the effort matched the reward.
I spend a lot of time in the woods, so "leaf wiping" seemed to come pretty natural! "Windy"

:stoneslap: LOL! You got all that into just 14 1-cup jars? I'da lost that bet!

<-- :stoneslap: :WTF: ...I sure hope you're talking about a men's only Tupperware party,...!! :hump:"My Arse.." Like I could let that one pass without hackin' on ya!! :xlaugh: **** Roger that on the RH,... Ed's book has lots of good advise on this, I'm sure you read,... :wiz: Longer term storage with slightly lower RH, maybe mid to upper 50's, is something I can attest to for good results; '12 season I had several oz's of a Jack Herer cross, and stored lots of it this way,... the last of went to a friend a few weeks ago, and it was still in good shape,... much more amber, but still plenty flavorful and potent! Getting them into bigger jars, (quarts are handy), will help keep the RH more stable as well,... Awaiting the missus report! :smoke:

I want quarts!!! LOL
We'll pick some up this week for final storage.

"AFN Star Rating" to Mr. Rosenthal! FH is holding at a nice 57% RH, I'm a bit worried about the NL though. I was getting high RH In the jars despite long burps, let her spend last night in a couple of shoe boxes, re-jarred this morning. RH is creeping up SLOWLY "RU Stoned..?" at 50% now. Oh poo, I hope I didn't stop the cure!
Awaiting the missus report!
Me too! "toke toking"
It's showing its' indica, for sure, a very body high, couchlock with a couple of hits.
The of-the plant-samples gave no coughing fits, the air dried sample mayde her cough a bit, so not Uber-smooth.
Now todays jar sample had no cough, a very smooth smoke. A bright, citrus (maybe a orange zest twang) and evergreen smell and taste. It reminded me of drinking a pear-forward Chardonnay in the mountains after a brief rain.
Best guess. Amazing nose and flavor.
BTW, the wet and dry weights are on... even double checked the dry. If my scale is off, look for the mushroom cloud! "You are an Angel.."

Hey Just thought about it ..I hate being 3 times a gay ...
