Noob question/packaging

Hey everyone!

I was looking on ebay at Marshydro for an led but needed to ask, does the box/led come in plain packing/plain box?

One last question, would a box height of 34" or 26" be ok for the Mars hydro300/140w (i think they would be the 5w version?)

The Mars Hydro 300w(60x5(140w)) through marshydro on eBay should ship in a plain brown box. I've got 6 of these through them on eBay.

Higher space is always better. You want to keep it 12"-18" above the canopy, I've had them at around 8 inches before I see a little heat/light stress.

If you mounted it directly on the top of a 34" box, have a 12" container height, 12" above the canopy, you can only grow a 10" tall plant. For that small of a box I'd just use CFLs, you can get them right up next to the plant.

Hi Atulip and Paddler, thanks for the replies! I was really looking at that led light, as ive used some cfl's before but didn't get the greatest results (in a 26" tall box) (i did train them/lst) i mainly asked because i might be able to use a 34" tall box if i could have got better results with the led. So you guys think the led is pushin it a bit? I had really hoped i could have lst and even poss had them on the far side of the box incase of any lightburn/bleaching - but i have never used leds before only 125w cfls (x2)

Also the deal thats on ebay really made me think how i could accomadate it into my set up (its just for percy - so 2 small plants in 1 gallon/4 litre pots)

Great light and great price discrete packaging and will out produce those CFL's
