I have a seedsman northern lights is at day 80 has hairs but no bud sites should i flip to 12/12 or keep it at 18/6

Sounds like a Photoperiod to me. Never heard of an Auto taking 80+ days to transition. I would flip to 12/12. Make sure to cut her back first if you think she may outgrow your space. That is a long veg.
I had the same experience with NL Auto from Seedsman. I was growing it along with a Delicious Seeds Sugar Black Rose - and neither would flower. They stalled at pre-flower. I tried putting them on a 12/ 12 light schedule and nothing worked. I threw them in the garbage at 135 days.

- Various strains, via various intake tools, but no combustion.
My Seedsman NL autoed fine, and produced some really nice sleepy time weed, right up there with the best in my limited experience.
I would try 12/12 to see if that will trigger flowering. If that does not work, the next stop may be the compost bin.
