Not happy with Ardent decarboxylator

I provided clear evidence of product failure but Ardent refused to replace the Decarboxylator.
The Ardent outer casing can't handle the heat cycling and mine split open the outer casing on its own after three back to back heat cycles.
They could end up causing more damage if the product is unsafe.
But they didn't seem to comprehend or believe me and said can't help.
So now I'm stuck with a split open case defective product. No I never came close to damaging it. It stays in my kitchen cabinet and I use it on the kitchen countertop, it's always been well cared for.
Very disappointed that Ardent can't replace a defective product.

Curious, Which model ? Is the split the only problem, will it still work though ?

I also keep my FX in kitchen cabinet and is well cared for, sorry for your issue. GOOD LUCK !!

Pretty sure our nova cracked too I don't use it the wife does but I noticed duct tape on it. It still works fine it looks to be just the outer cover which is just cosmetic

How old is it?

I don't think age is the issue.
I can tell they use a odd material might be plant based plastic on the outer shell and it degrades over time and heat cycling. Defective material should be replaced by a good company. Maybe Ardent can send me some duct tape to fix it.

Same with our Nova. However it has seen a ton of use over the past 5 or 6 years. Duct tape for the win, lol

Ill have to keep an eye on my outer covering, mine is a FX , a couple yrs old and have only used so many times ,,
BUT, Now that I had great luck with my left over rosin pucks, I'll be using it a LOT more !!

Gorilla Tape , is best !

It does say on their website that if you don’t let it fully cool between heat cycles, it can damage the device….

I only do one batch every 5 to 7 days with mine.
