Okay so they are about 3 weeks old (bar the middle one which is 2). I'm using a 250w HPS throughout this first grow... I gave the outer 4 a 1/2 dose of Biobizz Grow at 2 weeks in, I'm thinking maybe this was too early? I flushed them afterwards just to be safe and gave them a dose of Cal-Mag in their next feed.

I've tested the feed and run off, both are at 6.5.... Humidity is normally around the 30% mark, temperature between 25-30°C although sometimes I will wake up in the morning and find it sitting around 31.5 at which point I open the tent for a while to let it cool and then open a window.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

looks to me like to much nitrogen and not enough calcium but im far from professional just thought id answer with what I thought till someone else more experienced knows

Looks like magniezium def.If you added cal/mag that should help.Try and get your humidity up to50 or 60 %.,

I was hoping the calmag would sort it out but the newer leaves coming through are showing signs of it too...

Hey Anon, faded was correct, you are overfeeding N causing a lockout of Mag. You need to cut your feed way back, just ph'd water for the next few feedings. Along with that you need to get some epsom salt and foliar feed. Don't use Cal/Mag, which has a pretty good bit of N as well. Just dissolved epsom salts and water.

Depends on what cal mag product he's using... Cal Mag Plus by botanicare has a good dose of N, however calimagic from general hydroponics has half the amount of N, and CaMg+ by general organics has none in it, Revive by advanced nutrients also has half the amount of N as the botanicare..

Anon- BioBizz grow is very mild stuff I think, like 3-0-8, so I don't think you started too early,.. I'm not familiar with their products personally, but
there's several things that should be feed along with the Grow, right? Grow alone will be a disaster- notice the 0 -P value? Plants need P for many things, not just blooming,... BTW, what soil are you in? regardless, because Grow is so mild, I can't help but think there's not a N issue here; pics make it hard to be sure, but the leaves don't look dark enough to me for N toxicity,... Your girls are at a stage where Ca-Mg issue very often arise, and from where the symptoms are, and how they're progressing (to the top growth), this is Mg defc., likely with Ca defc. right on it's heels; Mg is a mobile nute, which means the plant can draw on lower leaves to help support the new growth, and as things worsen, it will start to effect upper leaves as well,... Ca is poorly mobile, so the plants can't scavenge itself very effectively for it, and mid-to upper growth shows signs first,... the two often occur together, and have similar initial symptoms otherwise, which I think is why the two are paired together in one supplement... So, let us know what other nute's you're using, to get an idea about your actual N-P-K input, brand of soil, and if your Ca-Mg has N in it as well, and how much... they're getting hit pretty hard now, so foliar feeding would be good idea, to speed things in there! :smoke:

My plant looks very similar to this after I added nutrients for the first time. The lower leaves started to get burnt tips so I flushed and the feeding after I only gave water, a few days later and my plants looking better now and the new growth is healthy. My question is since only the lower leaves are burnt would it be beneficial to prune them or should i just leave them?

The leaves are slightly more burnt then in the attached image
