So i have over my years of growing accumulated numerous bottles of nutes that i will never used or need (as a grower does lol) I think i have found my staple nutes and additives that i will keep for along time. Would it be ok to just dump the nutes down the drain that i don't want anymore? I am on my own septic. Should i dump them out into the woods and take the bottles to the dump for recycle? What is the best route to dispose of the un-wanted bottles of nutrients?

LykaBoss down the drain wouldnt hurt but id rather play it safe and not take the chance of putting themdown there. maybe give to a Neighbor or Friend who has a veggie garden or something.

If you dont want to go that route or save them for a veggie garden instead of your precious ladies. Id dump them in tbe back yard in some brush so it dosent kill whatever you dump bottles of nutes on. Lol

And then Recycle.

your best bet is to either give them away or ask local nurseries if they take them or your best bet it wait for a land fill in your area to offer toxic chem and household cleaner disposal day and take it there.dont put that stuff near water tables n stuff.dont dump it.look online for a land fill or transfer station to except your hazardous wastes which most all of them do at various point over the year.THX!!:Cool bud: :Sharing One:

Giving them away is not an option, i can't explain to neighbors or "friends" that i have this surplus of grow nutes. Highly non friendly state.

What volume of nutrients are you talking about... how many gallons?

i probably have about 30 different 32oz bottles of random shit. I would assume some of them are bad, just from sitting being hot and cold in my attic space in a box. I have been using the complete Dyna Grow nute lineup along with Recharge microbial inoculation and Mendo Avalanche. I personally found this combination rock solid and highly doubt i would change it up. So i want to get rid of all the other bullshit that i will most likely NEVER use again.

Thats a good bit but I donr see how it would be a negative effect on the septic tank unless your somehow worried about the field lines but its not going to contaminate anything that is infectious waste water anyway thats what septic tanks are setup to handle... im no pro on microbes but I do know thats what lives in your septic tank to breakdown the waste it may even benifit.... I would put them down the toilet slowly over time if you dont want to take them anywhere public to attract any kind of attention

look online and look when they have a toxic household disposal and stick em into 1 gallon milk jugs or something and drop em off.no hassel ,free n clear and let THEM dispose of em lol thats yer answer unless a local nursery does that which is a lil rare.but some do.

Use it to water the plants in the garden. The lawn even ;) You'll have the greenest garden in the neighborhood :D
You could bring all these nutes to a disposal, but I would like to point out they are not really toxic only concentrated minerals and nutrients. There is no big harm in flushing a bottle away once or twice.
But why waste it? Like I said, water the lawn a few times, feed your cactusses and your flowers and the surplus nutes will be gone before you know it ;)
