Hello all,
I am currently on week 3 of my grow. I am using
OF and have been using pH adjusted water to 7 until a week ago on my first feed, just big bloom. today I fed them 3/4 tbsp big bloom, 1 tsp grow big, 1 tsp bio root and 1/10th tsp open sesame (they're autos in preflower). I checked my ph before feeding and it was 6.4 so I let it be and didn't adjust. I waited for runoff and checked it with my pen and it read 5.0??? I rechecked with my liquid solution and it read the exact same thing.
The plants are looking great, nothing wrong with them at all. how can my ph be that low if there had never been anything in my bucket under 6.0? I don't think this is right because they are doing so good. Any thoughts or has anyone seen this before?
I am absolutely positive that nothing below 6.0pH has ever gone into the buckets, and I have not seen any negative effects thus far. They look extremely healthy actually! But now I am very worried about this.
Should I be concerned with this? I am beginning to think soil runoff is not a good gauge of your actual soil pH, because according to that logic the pH of the soil would be even lower than 5.0 if I have been watering with 6.5 and getting runoff at 5.0?
They just look too good right now to have a pH that acidic. I was so excited about this grow because everything has been going so well and now this has happened, and I may be at risk of losing everything, and the huge amount of money I have invested in this grow...
Anyways, here are some pictures from today. Please let me know what you guys are thinking about this and any kind of advice and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Please give me a hand guys, I would really appreciate it!
