Greetings AFN Brothers and Sisters.
Been away for a while but im back and stoked to get some girls on the go again. This time is Auto WW and BM form Dutch Passion and Auto OG by Humboldt.

The WW and OG are in coco and im trying the new Ph perfect coco formula by Advanced Nutrients and so far its great, still using Piranha, Tarantula, Voodoo, SensiZym, Bud candy, Big Bud, Overdrive and Nirvana.

The BM is just being fed Piranha, Tarantula, Voodoo, SensiZym, Ancient Earth, and come flowering, Bat Guano and Nirvana.

I've just finished Dinafems Auto OG and its killer bro,Dinafem own Humbolt so I assume it's the same genetics.

I will be following along with this one. Keen to see how the Sensi Coco A&B works. I was growing coco there for a year+ with the regular AN Sensi nutes and found I needed to add cal/mag.

What is your background water EC if you don't mind me asking? Will be useful in comparing your grow to mine ones.

I heard AN were even going to bring out their own matching Coco... but that could be false information... not sure if it was AN themselves who told me that or who. Was before the Sensi Coco range was launched.

Hey Happy the reason you needed to add cal/mg along side the Sensi is because COCO naturally binds calcium and magnesium to the substrate so extra cal/mg will be needed if it is to reach the plants root system to be utilized.
The new coco sensi has extra cal/mg in it so that not all of it can bind to the growing medium and it can be absorbed by the plant itself. If your growing any kind of auto you will still need extra cal/mg on top of the Coco nutes as autos are even harder on cal/mg than photos. Sorry for hi-jacking to thread i just thought id share some info.

Hey Grim, yea I know, it's to do with the cation exchange capacity of coco. I learn't the best way to handle coco with non-coco sensi nutes was to give them a strong dose of cal/mag in the beginning to saturate the substrate and give a lower maintenance dose after that. I didn't realise this when I first started using coco however and had to learn the hard way :) Where were you two years ago with this information huh!? :P
