Mephisto sour crack fugue and soon ghost toof
Hello everyone glad to find a new site to explore new tech and new to me autos.
I had a perpetual micro grow years ago. It was les then 2 x 2 but i had 3 ft height. Grew under 2 70watt hps and a separate spot for clones. When they were rooted they went into 2 liter pop bottles and straight to 12\12. Two in two out a week. Worked well.
Forward 12 years i now have 2x2x60 tent. Powered with a 135 HLG QB in 3000k. Have a AC Infinity 4 inch exhaust direct to outside no filter. Have two oscillating fans one on the canopy one blowing on the QB heatsink. Passive intake. I also have a cheap mars hydro 300watt eco i think it pulls 115 watts or something as additional light if required.
This new tech is overwhelming to say the least. I cant believe how these QB light up the tent. Different from the hps im used to.
I have ran the tent a while with a few freebie autos. One i beat the heck out of transplanting re planting not fertilizing as an experiment to dial in the tent parameters and to try making seeds with cs. It worked as well my lemon skunk in half gallon soil is forming seeds now.
My second is a hindu kush auto that went into lockout or deficiency. I have been making my own soil blends for tomatoes(organic) and it worksork awesome. My mistake was reading to put hot soil in bottom half and light in the top. Looks to me like i ran out of nute and had no choice but to up pot into my soil blend right at the stretch. Looks to be coming around but im not concerned it was again a learing experience with a freebie seed.
I purchased some Mephisto genetics as i am amazed at what they accomplish with autos.
So i dropped a sour crack straight into a 3 gallon fabric pot full of my organic blended soil mix. Its peat lime castings and compost with extra perlite. Its now a week old and going to start its veg here anyday.
Im also starting a grow journal for it.
Cheers and glad to be on board.
