The plants are likely concentrating on growing roots. The plants are still getting energy/fuel from their seed (less need for photosynthesis), and concentration on growing roots (establishing nutrient supply) vs. stems and leaves is ideally what you want at this stage.

So all seems okay to you?
I know I'm being paranoid, lol
Thanks for replying and hope you are well bill

I suggest, if what you see as stalled growth continues for say more than 3-5 more days (or what others suggest), then be concerned. And some "weird" first leaves are fairly normal. I'd presume as long at the visible parts look healthy (as they do currently), you don't have any real problem (other than impatience and worrying too much). Keep in mind, these plants sprouted in cups and were transplanted to your large pots only days ago - give them time to adapt.

If you feel compelled now to look for problems, perhaps calibrate your pH sensor, check your soil (runoff) pH and ppm/EC, etc. Since you aren't all that confident in what you are doing, I suggest check back here if you think you find a problem.

I didn't transplant..they were germinated until tap root showed and then planted directly into the pot and cup
Planted directly into the lager pot about a week ago, the cup I may transplant or just let it grow there and see what happens.like a solo cup grow

I have more seeds, so i can start again if need be

Thanks to bill for all your feedback and time

Regarding, "I have more seeds, so i can start again if need be." Consider planting a second sprouted seed in the pots where you presume the current young plant is stalled, and see if the new sprout quickly catches up to or surpasses the size of your original. You'll have the options of culling one, both (such if it's a soil problem) or growing out both plants.
