Omri labeling

Not necessarily, omri is supposedly a really flawed system. There are a lot of organic soils which are not registered omri. Just have an open mind, and try to base your choices off of the success others have had in the past.

no it costs money. million dollar companies dont tend to get it.some do ,,most dont. i dont remember seeing any stamp. i persaonally would stay away from MG soils on pure principle.but Im not able to so thats why i know them so well.its a simple and over priced cheap version of what i and others have been showing growers how to grow.lol.works but not awesome.

Carl, I'm just getting started on this myself, but I'd say if you really care about it being organic then study @Eyes on Fire and @Fuggzy threads and the ones in the sticky section on TLO soils. Get some good soil cooking. It's lots of fun. In the meantime you could grow in whatever decent soil you can buy,

Eyes on fire knew exactly why i started this thread! Lol.
I think if theyre just giving that omri listing to anyone with money thats pretty misleading. Yeah i know which organic soil I've always wanted to try that nectar of the gods black bag soil. And a solid second goes to black gold but wow i think i saw 1.5 cf for 50 bucks.

So i have my soil and humus in the back of my pickup will rain or anything hurt the soil? Were moving soon so i dont want to use it just yet.
