Hey fellow auto producers!! I'd like to get your thoughts on hanging one 48 x 3 watt switchable LED from MarsHydro. I'm asking because I have had issues in the past with some autos growing out of control and resort to stacking the other plants up on coco blocks to get any light while all under one light and same genetics. I also cannot safely use HID anymore where I am now located due to regular and irregular brownouts and voltage fluctuations and non availability of bulbs that I would most certainly be destroying prematurely. I like the idea of one light per plant (small to medium auto's) mostly for easy adjustment, but also for better coverage. Any thoughts folks?

Just to clarify, one 48 x 3 per plant (small to medium auto's)

It'll work great :)

My first grow was a 135W UFO and one plant. 2.8 oz dry :)

Now I have a tent with 3 different LED's in it...not only can
you go one light per plant...if you happen to have only two
or one plant, you can position the other lights as side lighting
or targeting the secondaries.

Plus, every plant is getting residual light from the other
"dedicated" lights.

Go for it :)

Yea, I dig it. I have two 150 watt HPS that I use 1 over each plant. Really helps with autos because you just never know how tall they will get. Any gaps in the lighting you can fill in with Cree Household LEDs..

Thanks guys, that's exactly my train of thought, I was curious if anyone else had tried this for the same reasons and it does seem to make good sense for the small grows I normally do now.....curiosity satisfied. Thanks again

Thanks Trapper, I finally decided on a 96 x 3 Mars Hydro from Tina since I do have a few extra lights as well for side lighting or whatever situation may arise. I usually just grow a few at a time anyway mostly for my own use and I wanted to see how that Mars Hydro light works out.
