My next setup will be autopots. would i do better with 4 XL pots, or 6 standard in a 1mx1mx2m tent with a 600w "white" full spectrum LED and 2x Blurple 300s
You dont have this option. Two 3.9 pots will fill a m2 tent and I don't think you could fit six bases into my tent and it is a m2. Just look at my grow and there were mistakes made or they would have been even larger. With some strains you could easily fill a tent that size with one plant with these autopots.

I think four of the 15 liter (3.9gl) autopots should be okay in a 5x5. That's 25 sq ft and over twice as big as my 9 sq ft tent. LOL, with my 3x3 I could fill it with the right strain in one autopot. That's why I have another tent ready to setup soon just to try filling a tent with one massive plant scrogged in an Autopot.

4 site would rock the shit out of a 5 x 5 tent! that or a 2xl site autopot system if you want some freakishly huge plants!! If you go with the 2 xl system, make sure you have good height, you will need it!
...... I tried growing 6 DP Ultimates with XL pots in a 5x5..... That was a yuuuuuge mistake......
With medium to smaller sized strains I would say 4 or 6 x XL in a 5x5 is perfect (proper attention to training assumed), even 9 with a strain like say Mephisto's Sour Crack, but it depends a lot on how many sides of access there is, with large strains 2 or even 1 can fill a 5x5 with some growing skill and experience.
I've got 18 x XL, and it took more than a few runs before I had the number of pots to strain ratio dialled in, and still sometimes the Autopots almost gets the upper hand.... Lol
