So guys we have a problem. I guess those are spidermites what do you think? I don´t want to use any chemical products. Will try now with vinigar/water mix if that doesn´t help will try pepper spray made out of pepper seeds mixed with water.
Any other advises are very welcome
So was surfing the web for a while now and I think does are thrips. Gonna try the pepper spray method I think if done sometimes a week this will do the job for sure
Any opinions are of course appreciated
I can't quite see from the picture which it might be, someone with a more trained eye may be able to but I would say its either white spider mites or whitefly. Can you see them up close? 6 legs or 8? And can you see any webbing anywhere under the leaves? If 8 legs and webbing, you've got spider mites. 6 legs and you've got white fly.
I'm not sure about homemade remedies and I'm not sure I'd use them either but what I would do is go out into your garden/park and go on a ladybird/bug hunt.
If you've got food for them in your grow they'll gladly stick around to help you out.
Other than that dude, I'd ask some of the big dogs here about HM remedies. You don't wanna end up tainting your babies.
I don´t think those are whiteflies since we had flies in the grow closet, but those were not white at all they were looking like drosophelia (fruit flies) My magnyfier should have been here already but the french post service seems to be freaking slow ... There are no webs on the plant at all so far.
If your using store bought compost there's always the chance there were a few little bugs already in there. Nothing you can do about it really as it's unsterilized.
My advice would be to start a thread in the infirmary to see if anyone in there can help. You'll soon get some answers.
Have you noticed any white/rusty spots appearing on the tops of the leaves??
Yeah with those signs I'd probably agree with the spider mite verdict but do drop by the infirmary and see if anyone has any goodies which might help you.
