Grow Room Open Source Mephisto Sour Crack

I had decent luck with Mephisto's Sour Crack last grow so I am planting four this time to see if I can learn to grow it better. I am going to skip the SCROG and just tie the tops of the plants down at about 2 weeks. The plant did not get very tall the first time I grew it. It's a fast plant. I grew it for 62 days last time and I think it may have been a little too long.

The seeds are in their cubes and have cracked I expect to see them start to peek out by tomorrow.

I guess they're shy. The first Sour Crack I grew was up in under 24hrs. I have the heat mat under them and have started running the light 8hrs a day to encourage them. Hummm?

I highly recommend NOT to have your drippers in your system, Drip on the cubes,
That will slow your root development down,,,
Move them slightly to the side so the cubes get moist NOT wet,,if algae occur "to wet",,

Thanks Ksj, I've been eyeing those things and they seem redundant. I have been having issued with alge (or I assume it's alge) growing on my cubes. This grow I've set rockwool cubes on the bottoms of the net pots. I had been setting the cubes on a small bed of hydron (seemed like a good idea at the time.) I am tweeking the control to get it to fill the res just to the bottoms of the pots. Once I get that dialed in I'm done with those dippers. I appreciate the advice and please keep it coming!

Day 0. I can see those little ladies uncurling from within their seed coats. But boy are they slow this time. I dropped the seeds into rockwool 11 days ago. Something different every time.

Day 1, We have contact! One Sour Crack has reported for duty. I can see the other three trying to pop their heads out.

Im probably going to have the same slow problem with my seeds when I start my Krippleberry grow. Its probably because they are not as fresh as they were when you first got them. Hope mine still pop haha. If not, owell. Ill buy more seeds. Karma to your new grow my friend. I definitely want to try out this strain. Sour diesl x Green crack Im assuming? Two knock out strains man. Sounds like some good stuff. Ive been craving a good sativa.

Hi Neko, my seeds are only a few months old. I didn't condition my rockwool cubes. I wondering if that might be part of the problem. The PH could have been way off. Thanks

I am starting over. I popped four more seeds into a wet paper towel this morning. The first four Sour Crack are so anemic I am afraid the will be stunted.
