Grow Room Open Source Mephisto Sour Crack

This is the controller that I built KsjAuto's encouraged. I was trying to get it sorted before I left on my vacation in Sept. but I unfortunately only finished it just prior to this current grow. It's made maintenance sooo much easier and although I still fuss with the plants incessantly the res stays at the same level all the time. Both the res and the controller have shut off valves and I have the controller and the res teed off to an extra valve which drains to the sewer. Suggestions, comments and heckling are always welcome!

Hmmm, Yea. IDK man.

Growweedeasy
Growing cannabis in hydroponics with nutrients that don't supplement calcium or when growing in water that has less than 6.2 pH
Too much potassium can also sometimes cause the appearance of a calcium deficiency

Since you have the dots, and from the pics of cal def, and mag def. Looks more twards the calcium side.

The only other thing that looks close to it..Is the manganese deficiency that looks close to your problem..Maybe its a manganese?

but yours doesnt have the yellowing though.

Got that pic from growweedeasy too.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey Neko, I think it's a Mg deficiency as it's the flesh between the veins that is being effected. I am pretty sure that it's being caused by the low levels of nutes I've been feeding. I really want to avoid tip burn this go round. Ksj has given me direction to rectify this. I am going to follow his technique and see if I can determine what the correct level of neuts is for this strain. Not too much not too little. I can always dream.:Sharing One:

Heh, yea. I know what you mean about the tip burn. Ive gotten a little every grow so far I think. This grow Im definitely backing off a tad on the nutes. Feed water wate..instead of feed.water.feed.water, and so forth. Cheers man. Some karma for your resolution. :karma Cloud::Sharing One::tiphat:

My Milwaukee MW101

arrived yesterday. My cheep PH meter started acting strangely and I've been reading so much about PH lately I had to step it up a notch. It's a manual setting meter with accuracy to .01. The glass probe has to be submerged in a KCl storage solution to maintain it. I've got it all calibrated and am feeling good about my PH levels.

Hey, whats up my man Jack? Nice Ph tool you got man. I need to get up on getting an electronic PH pen or something.
Definitely way more important for Hydro then organic growing.

Hey Neko, How's beautiful sunny CA today? Yes the little piece of mind is definitely worth the $70 the PH meter cost. Peace!

Definitely man. PH has to be on point. Cali is warm and dry lol. around 75F today. A little unusual for this spot in cali. Its usually more like in the low 60's by this time of year. Nice weather to ride a bike in though heh.

My sister lives in San Fran. It's beautiful out there and I love the climate. Cold and rainy here on the East Coast today. Just like we like it. :slaps:
