My seedlings are in sad shape. I tried letting the sit in the cold res without the air bubbler thinking that the temp of the res would ward off any slime or rot. I have definitely disproven that theory. I added a little bleach to the res to try to kill whatever is growing on the roots. :Woopsadaisy:

Bud Porn for you viewing pleasure and Please Look at Attachments! I need advice on when to chop. I am at day 55 of a Sour Crack grow. There are pictures of tricombs attached. There is a little ambering of some of the tops if the trics in a couple of the shots. Please let me know what you think.

Sorry to hear about your seedlings.
Newer had to deal with slime,, so i have no advice to give.
If you turn off the air pump... still water, ain't a good thing in dwc

Thanks Neko & Ksj, I'll get it sorted. I have more seeds but not SC and I really want to grow SC one more time to see if I get any better at it. So far starting plants is my biggest issue. So I'm gonna sit it out until the end of the week when I decide if I chop the current crop. Peace

those tops are looking chunky!!
for us the last sour crack we had were in small pots transplanted to 12 litres (soil) at sex, and around day 50 from sprout they virtually stop growing. Out of a batch of 16 the earliest was taken day 55 from sprout, during a one week window upto day 62, that was with around 10-15 % amber.

im not sure whether it's the lighting in the photos but I see a few ambers there. Just get your scope out day by day and keep an eye on the swelling of the buds

BTW what do you mean by watch for the swelling od the buds"? They've swelled quite a bit.

I mean just keep an eye on them, I'm sure you're looking at them every day anyway
if you see no visible change in size, paired with a few more amber trichs (depending how you like the effect to be) I'd say you're good to go with the scissoring !
