Outdoor Operation Overgrow - Minimum number of seeds to release into the wild to naturalize?

How many seeds of Snowryder do you think is the minimum amount to spread in the woods to virtually guarantee that it naturalizes? Obviously more is better but what would you think would be the least amount to spread?

My hope is that many plants will make it to maturity and get spread by birds and animals to the rest of the woods for miles around and spread far and wide.

EDIT: I am in the deep south central usa where the woods are thick and it rains regularly.

Welcome to AFN. What goal do you have in mind by doing this? A perpetual supply from wild plants? I suspect it would only take a few generations until they would revert to just being low potency, wild ruderalis plants.

My goal is the goal of operation overgrow: to make it so that it grows everywhere. i don't care about what the plants do potency-wise. When I get done in 10-15 or so years it will be everywhere in my state and it will be even more ridiculous to keep it illegal.

Also, I should tell you that I have been allowing snowryder to pollinate itself for several years now in a perpetual seed harvesting campaign, many generations have passed and it is still as potent as when i first started growing it. I suspect in the wild it will do 2-3 generations per growing season, indoors i get 6 generations per year...

No offence but that's kind of out there, to me anyway. I mean, in 10-15 years it would more than likely be legal anyway wouldn't it? Plus, do you not think the "authorities"/general public who don't condone the growing of cannabis, would intervene before then?

What kind of impact is that going to have on the native plants etc?

I'm not being sarcastic, I just have never heard of this kind of thing before.

MJ is a plant created by God and he sowed it on the earth along with man, whom God must have foreseen would spread the plant far and wide...

Ditch weed has been growing wild in states like Kansas and Nebraska for many years and it's had zero impact on it's legality in those states. Not saying don't do it, I just don't see any point. It's very likely wild blown pollen from those plants will come in contact with other grows. If someone is growing photos for seed production they will be "contaminated" with the auto gene. If that happened to me, I would be well pissed if I found out someone was purposefully spreading wild autos in my area.
